Just wanted to second Pamela's idea for an off-topic section of the forum. From the experience I've had with other internet forums, having a spot where people can feel free to talk about the various aspects of their lives, can help build the sense of community. ?

I think less is more....
It's tempting when setting up a new forum to create loads of categories, like when you first get a highlighter pen and you want to highlight everything on a page, it's the same with a forum - you'll want to create loads of categories to organize everything.
but it means the discussions are hidden away, unless people are happy to click into each one.
I would keep it simple:
- Welcome
- Suggestions
- Predictions
- Off topic
- Psychic learning / development & tips
at least until the forum gets really busy.
but that's just my $0.02, take my advice or disregard it, I don't care you won't offend me :)
Finally, I made it to the Forum! I think it would be great to have different topics. So far I'm liking all suggestions.
