I don't believe he will be the candidate either and haven't for awhile..  Which means the dems need to be careful about  only talking about him.  Dangerous.  They can't make it all about Trump the person.

See the work of Prof George Lakoff on “strict father families.” He explains it all!

Hello all.  I took a little break to recharge my batteries.  Still at about 75% but getting better.  I'm trying not to overload on the "who killed Epstein" furvor.  Anyway, has anyone heard, read or seen the ads run by "rule of Law Republicans"?  I heard about it on one of the youtube readers I follow and breifly looked them up.  They are a group of high placed Republicans, I take it most are attorneys, who are opposing Moron due to his blatent disregard of the rule of law. They all seem to be fairly wealthy and they are considering running a candidate to oppose MOron in th primaries.  That is if BillyBarr hasn't declared that unlawful! They are running TV ads in different areas of the country.  One is supposed to be here in KY but I don't watch much TV so I haven't seen it. I have wondered how long the "true" republicans will put up with this administration and their facist tactics.  I truly believe there are repubs out there with a conscience.  I often think of my godfather who was a Repub but was also a very kind and moral man.  He was a religious man in his beliefs who showed this through actions not bluster.  After retiring from his family business he went to work for a non-profit devision of a childrens hospital.  Although he passed a few years back, I know there are others like him out there.  Hopefully they will find their voice again.

I just have to keep reminding myself that this whole administration is smoke an mirrors lead by a reality TV "star" and his group of radical misfits.  THey know nothing about the law, admisitration or the government.  I always laugh at those who say "we need to run our country like a business"  this is totally opposed with the foundation of our government.  We are not supposed to be "for profit' but "for the people".  I rememeber that when I listen to Bernie or Elizabeth.  Even if they are not the candidate in the end, they continue to draw attention to the real meaning of "for the people".

One other note, kind of funny, yesterday the MOron was at a Shell plant, I forgot where.  Anyway I saw a photo of him (I can't listen to his voice it makesme sick") the faces of the workers behind him said it all!  Most of them looked like "what the heck"!  He evidently rambled on and on without knowing what the heck he was supposed to be saying.  He went on his wind energy tangent again, showing how little he knows about anything.  Anyway turns out the poor workers had to stand there for over three hours listening to this and were not allowed to leave until after the MOron and his motorcade were gone.  There was almost a riot due to the workers were at the end of shift and wanted to leave!  Promises had to be made to keep them quite.  Now that some of the banks are releasing his financial records to Congress and the state of New York let's hope the end is near.

@penelopefp, Thanks for the Lakoff recommendation.  I've attached his 2016 article  concerning strict father families.  The Dems should have hired him as a consultant back then -- and they ought to do it now!

https://georgelakoff.com/2016/03/02/why-trump/

This is another Lakoff interview/podcast, which focuses on how voters think:

Thank you for posting these links! His work is vital for understanding how certain groups stick by Trump no matter what.

O.k. Thanks. I read for 5 of the best known psychics and film/tv stars on the planet. I trust my intuition. T is melting from dementia. He will not even be the GOP candidate.

From your mouth to God's ears. Thanks for the sense of hope on this Wedsnesday morning!

Agreed.

The waters could turn any minute, or for any reason, but I continue to see Nikki Haley's face. Somewhere in this thread I posted about a vision I had of a particular GOP man standing with her. When I started typing that post, I believed the man I'd seen was a Republican congressman and even stopped to look through photos of all possible GOP lawmakers to make some suggestions. I couldn't be certain about any of them.

By the end of the post, it hit me that maybe the man was actually some type of DC outsider, but somehow closely affiliated with the party and DC.

Then, Mark Sanford (who just happens to be the South Carolina governor that Haley succeeded) starts making the rounds on cable news again. He says he may or may not be considering throwing his hat in the ring to primary the incumbent, and even directly warns Trump that "a storm is coming."

Post-Trump, Sanford's indiscretions seem paltry.

At the same time, and perhaps not coincidentally, Scaramucci goes on TV and publicly announces his withdrawal of support from Trump. A short time later, a small story breaks, revealing that just before he made that announcement, Scaramucci was seen meeting with Nikki Haley.

In other news, the docuseries The Family is now streaming on Netflix, right on the heels of The Great Hack. Sanford makes a showing in this one, and if you haven't seen it, stop wasting your time.

@vestralux, do you know whether The Family is rooted in the conservative Christian, political idealogy of Dominionism?

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 800 today, and the bond market is flashing an upcoming recession signal, which astrologers say will initiate on 12/20/19.  This could be you-know-who's kryptonite.  All along, I've thought the economy would have to tank to dry up the supply of kool aid and get the maga crowd to sober up. The stable genius is wildly tweeting that we're still winning and the stock market isn't tanking because of his tradewar with China. It is, of course, among other things. He says it's all Jerome Powell's fault for not providing faster and bigger interest rate cuts.  Powell is the p-grabber's hand-picked appointee as chairman of the federal reserve.  Looks like we can totally forget about the buck ever stopping with our unfit, unprepared head of state. If he digs hard enough, I'm sure he'll find a way to blame Obama or Hillary.

I've read there are ties, but on the whole, I honestly couldn't say, @deetoo. And I wouldn't want to guess. With so secretive an organization—even one so clearly entrenched throughout the world—it's hard to know what's factual and what is conspiratorial conjecture. (I'm ordering Jeff Sharlet's books, and when I can, I plan to do deeper investigation into The Fellowship.)

Generally speaking, I have a personal philosophy that I apply to these sorts of things. And it's backed up by social science: In a large enough group, there are often greater differences (of opinion, belief, expression, etc.) within the group than between that group and outside groups. So, for example, when we decide that all police are a certain way, or that the CIA/FBI is a wholly corrupt monolith, etc., we're ignoring a basic reality of human nature. There are always corrupt people, and to the extent that they become leaders (more frequently than we'd like), an organization as a whole suffers. The fish rots from the head down, as they say. But that doesn't mean there aren't ordinary, well-meaning folks inside.

My point here is that while there are a great many dominionist—and more importantly, theonomist—proponents among evangelical Christian leadership, it's hard to say whether The Fellowship Foundation is entirely or even predominantly rooted there. According to Sharlet, the group refuses to claim itself as Christian, or any other organized religion. It's clear there are a lot of DC Democrats, even self-identified "liberal" Dems, who are either members or friends. Maybe they're all in it for power and access; maybe they're just supremely naive; maybe there's some good that happens for some, even if the structure itself is grossly disturbed (kind of like AA, some would argue).

And maybe it's like the Freemasons: until you're Third Degree, you don't know jack.

I don't know this for a fact, but I have to believe that even after the Revolutionary War and our independence from British monarchy (God-ordained rule), there remained a powerful (even virulent) strain of theocracy, which for the most part, became suppressed in the American unconscious. Maybe that's what evangelicalism (and its baby, the "prosperity gospel") are all about.

I started watching yesterday and I had to stop.  Had flu, nausea like symptoms and slept from 5pm to 8:45 am the next morning.  The energies from it were unreal.  It's really interesting and thanks to the guy who wrote the books.  We're now beginning to understand who the people in the shadows are .

Wow, @celticwitch, sounds like you're a seriously strong empath. I hope you're feeling better! And that you have some reliable ways of guarding yourself against involuntary energy absorption. If you're able to read about the subject without the side effects, I hope you will. I feel the information is vitally important for all democracy-loving people, wherever we are in the world.

Sidebar: my daughter is a painfully strong empath (as well as a physical medium, which is pretty excruciating on its own) and thus far, she's largely unable to tolerate taking in the news. She also can't watch documentaries or films that aren't strictly lighthearted in nature. It saddens me to see her have to suppress so much, but she's inherently strong—a powerhouse, in fact. (I have a feeling you are too.) In her case, I'm faithful she won't always need quite the same guardrails she does now, but even if she does, it's worth it for the preservation of her gifts.

Thanks @vestralux

It took me completely unawares and it was insidious.  I usually get a gut feeling to avoid straight away,  but this didn't take effect until halfway through the 2nd episode.  There's definitely dark forces behind this group. I believe that these people are praying and some actually believe they're praying to 'Jesus' but they're manifesting energies which are not good for the world, as the more time they're in this group the more it changes their beliefs and the more they increase the energy through praying.  It's classic energy manipulation.   Today I've heard other people talking about it and they laughed how 2 members of the family went to Libya and spoke to a statesman there, who's angry attitude changed when they all started praying.  Call me crazy but I can believe this.  The words and intentions are not for the good or 'brotherly love', but an undercurrent of dark magic hiding behind it.

I am also a psychic medium.  It can make life hard at times. I can see pain in peoples eyes, crowded places exhaust me, i have visions which can be terrifying, but I've come to accept who I am and what I have. It can be great connecting someone with a spirit and my Intuition has saved me from some dodgy decisions.  My son also has this gift and I'm teaching him on how to harness it. Today for example he said everything 'feels weird' and has a gut feeling that something bad will happen, but can't see what it is.  Im trying to help him to live with this and cope with it.

I feel there is so many of us out there like your daughter, we need to protect them and guide them. Let them believe that their gifts are for the good of mankind. Unlike members of the family who are using their gifts for their own needs and power.

For anyone who might find this entertaining, anthony scaramucci on CNN just said “look, i predict donald trump won’t even be on the ticket”

maybe he’s been reading the forum??

Interesting how his own party is flipping. Many classic GOP dropping like flies against 45...

this is the kind of news i like to hear!

@sagetarotpisces, Vestralux mentioned in an earlier post that Scaramucci was seen meeting with Nikki Haley before he announced his withdrawal of support for Trump.  That party is up to something.

@celticwitch

I absolutely observed what you did. In later episodes, there are oblique references to the formative influence of Trump's childhood minister, Norman Vincent Peale, as well as footage of him with Rev. Paula White, the prosperity gospel preacher who "counsels" him today. The philosophy of both of these figures is so strongly linked to the New Thought movement of the 19th century (and its occult origins), that with enough information (and even if you're not psychic), you can connect the dots.

Both The Fellowship's founder and Doug Coe both repeatedly and publicly cited interest and admiration in the Nazi Party's ability to organize and amass power. That capacity strongly relied on propaganda and the power not only to persuade vast numbers, but to utilize the energy of those masses toward their own ends. Besides which, there's plenty of evidence pointing to their black occult origins and practices.

So, what I felt while watching The Family was that the group—like other evangelical groups I'm familiar with—has managed to subtly convert believers away from the essential teachings of Jesus of Nazareth in favor of a "Jesus" stand in who, in many ways, represents the gnostic demiurge—a kind of lesser god that the gnostics believed created our universe, after which he demanded complete authoritarian control and the enslavement of mankind. The irony here is that The Family's basic beliefs and practices (that rulers are "chosen"; respect for power and strength but not for compassion; that it doesn't matter if their leaders are horribly sinful; reverence for a "wolf king," etc.) are far more theistically Luciferian in nature than anything remotely Christ-centric. No offense to Luciferians.

P.S.

I'm also a medium, as are all of the women in my maternal line (and a few of the men). Even though I have some of the characteristics of a physical medium, I'm not nearly as plagued by the emotional overwhelm that my daughter is (or that my mother experiences). I probably limit some of the impact because I spend most of my time alone (as is absolutely my preference), although I do have a long history of pretty bizarre and often unexplained illnesses which come and go. But entities haven't been lining up to try to enter my body since I was young—and none would get away with that crap now if they wanted to. Anyway, just wanted to clarify the distinction in case it isn't commonly known.

@sagetarotpisces

We saw this coming. And I really really want to celebrate when Cheetolini is gone. But I'm still troubled because I fear he may be a lot easier to beat in 2020 than whoever the GOP puts up in his place.

I saw the news on fb about this and someone commented on this and said the workers were forced to go and attend. This person knew someone who worked there

@Jessi1978 that isn’t surprising.  Seriously look at the faces.  Not your usually rally/hate crowd!  The expressions go from What? To good grief right through to this guys got a big screw loose!  I do think there is a behind the scene movement to get him out.  Mooch said he turns on everybody eventually.

@yogagirl

I saw the video but I just came being myself to hear him talk. He is the most stupidest man ever and I hate to hear his voice it causes me to have such anger.

The faces of those people who were forced to sit there and here his blabbering was priceless. Usually he has people cheering for him. These people look like I look when I am talking to someone and they are talking BS and I know that they are lying but I don’t want to say anything. So I just sit there and I know my eyes look bigger then usual.
