I'm kind of feeling resigned to the fact that nothing, nothing, will move the GOP senators toward decency.  Nothing.  Trump will emerge from this impeachment trial and get stronger.  Maybe, hopefully, he'll be defeated in November.  Even then we're in for some more bumpy years, as the country will be further polarized by the right wing lunatics.

@lynnventura

I have never had that hope. I am pretty sure many people think the same way. Pelosi knows that the Republicans would never find him guilty. It’s about showing the world on a grander scale all of his crimes. This will be a trial. This is bigger then the House impeachment. It’s not every day that a US President gets impeached. I remember when Clinton trial was going on. I was on Vacation in Ecuador and it was on every TV  channel. This is to show the world in a grander scale. Pelosi knows this. She is way smarter then T and his cult. This is a chess game. One piece at a time. I ? sure that she has held back on more of his crimes.  She is going to show her hand at the trial. Even if they don’t call witnesses.

"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Sunday that President Trump is 'impeached for life' regardless of 'any gamesmanship' by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), whom she accused of orchestrating a 'coverup' of Trump’s actions as the Senate waits for the House to transmit the articles of impeachment."

"Dismissing is a coverup. Dismissing is a coverup. If they want to go that route again, the senators who are thinking now about voting for witnesses or not — they will have to be accountable for not having a fair trial,” Pelosi said on ABC News.

I love that the GAO said that Rumplethinskin's actions of withholding funds for aiding Ukraine were illegal, and they noted the specific law. This echoes what we heard being said at the House trials, that the Rep. representatives tried to obscure with their nonsensical rhetoric. What was done, was done with the full knowledge of the executive branch head honchos, and it broke the law. There's not going to be a way to hide this during the trial.

I'm glad that Parnas has given his interviews and turned over supporting documentation. The Ukraine will be investigating how a US Ambassador was placed in jeopardy for the sake of trying to get dirt on a political rival. Things are starting to crumble for those on Pennsylvania Ave. Parnas is making sure that if anything happens to him, like what happened to Epstein, he's shown preemptively whom to point the finger at.

I've had gut feelings since reading that Soleimani used to tweet memes about IMPOTUS that the strike wasn't just the most outrageous thing on the list of possible forms of retaliation he could use to distract from his own travails, he could literally silence someone who made fun of him.  It's been shown that he authorized doing so 7 months ago. I thought Bush Jr. was bad, but even he knew the risk of retaliation wasn't worth getting rid of Soleimani. I think we're still in for smaller acts of vengeance, but the unfortunate plane strike has shown Iran's leadership that they don't have their act together, and the people of the state are not going to back them much further. That is the silver lining of the crash. Those 176 lives have saved thousands in the long run.

The republicans, even tho they have limited reporting allowed around the impeachment trial, will not be able to hide. They will have to make a choice, cover for Rumple and his accomplices in broad day light, or take a stand against him by taking the side of truth and justice. Either way, they'll be losing support of constituents. Karma. Can't escape it. As many have predicted, there's probably not going to be a conviction at this hearing. If they let Rumpus slide, there will be an uprising. He'll have to be ousted any way. If the information is damming enough, they'll get him to cut a deal for non-prosecution, which is his only get out of jail free card.

I think the fat lady is warming up in the wings.

On the interview with Parnas he said that T  former attorney who T ok represent him was trying to force him to be a good boy and sacrifice himself to save T.  I believe him.

"In the records that he turned over there is an email. In those records, an email from Trump's other lawyer, Jay Sekulow, reveals Trump and Sekulow spoke about Dowd representing Parnas and the other indicted associate Igor Fruman."

@laura-f, love those Pod Save America guys. Whenever I read this description of time as flat and circular, usually in the form of a disk (I've seen a vinyl record used in the analogy, depicting how the "needle" of awareness can be easily picked up and moved to past or future and back), I always see the toroidal motion in a whirlpool.

When the water is draining out of a tub, for example, that toroid motion gets tighter and faster the farther down the water line gets. A lot of energy is moving through a small space and everything speeds up. I'd say that's a dead-on description for how the collective energy is moving right now. We're in a great transition period between an established but outmoded reality set and an entirely new one. Time and space are shifting.

@baba, oh, indeed. Karma is coming due for the king of kleptocrats. (With just a one card draw, I interpret that 9 of Disks as his motivation: to take complete lifetime control of his country's resources.) The astrological power events of Jan 10th and 12th struck his chart big time, too. The eclipse occurred on top of his Uranus in Cancer in the 9th House, which I believe will come in the form of a serious education (9th House) brought to him by the radical rebellion/rising up (Uranus) that his actions will awaken in the nation's people (Cancer).

Two days later, the Pluto-Saturn-Sun-Mercury-Chariklo conjunction in Capricorn on Jan 12th stood exactly inconjunct (a difficult aspect) to his own Pluto (his soul) and Midheaven, which are conjunct one another in his 10th House (represents his career/how he is seen to the world). That historic transit in Capricorn is all about the karmic restructuring of power and world order, and interestingly, Putin's Pluto-Midheaven are in the sign of Leo, a sign of monarchs. He certainly appears to see himself as one. Unfortunately for him, it looks as though his people won't continue to hold him up as one forever. After all, they've already overthrown one monarchy (and in that revolution, they summarily executed the tsar and his family).

P.S. When I read your vision about the DC protest my ENTIRE body resonated with a "yes." I'm always amazed and delighted by how pure and clear your visions are, along with so many others here.

@lawrence, right?!

Intuitively, I felt it would happen fast, but practically speaking, I was stunned. IMPOTUS felt the astrological shocks like an earthquake—and the aftershocks are still coming.

Yesterday, I was thinking about him and instantly saw the image of a tower of dominoes (the way someone might build a house of cards, but higher and more elaborate). The pieces were quivering and some at the base had already fallen, but it was otherwise still standing. The instant I wondered when it will collapse, there was a sound wave and the whole thing toppled. I saw this as ripples forming around letters that spelled, "The Word."

Immediately, I thought about the audio recordings we've intuited will come out. But I also wonder if the text archives we're seeing from Parnas' case could represent the same thing. Instant messaging is the contemporary version of audio tapes, surely. But I don't know—any thoughts? ...Although, if the Yeti talks so loudly and on unsecured cell phones, there have to be audio recordings somewhere. (I use apps for recording calls for work all the time.)

This may seem an odd place to share this, but I can't think of any better. For poets, poet lovers, and anyone (like @laura-f) pondering the construct of time generally, and the time we're in specifically, I offer Marci Nelligan's "Sestina."

sun fatter than the sky, an orange/

That was a beautifully laid out astrological explanation. Thank you. It struck me that only yesterday did T understand he was really impeached. Right after his intense aspects. He's unbelievable. He truly lives in his own fantasy world fog.  Compounded by dementia.

The Saturn Pluto Sun Mercury inconjunct his natal Pluto and Midheaven (career) aspect has his "karma has come due" written all over it. I tell astrology students that Saturn and Pluto are two planets whose lessons cannot be delayed for a future learning. They will slam your head up against the wall, teaching that you must learn these lessons now.

I read Lev also has audio recordings.

Iran says it will pursue war-crimes charges against President Donald Trump at the International Criminal Court in the Hague over this month's assassination of Gen. Qassem Soleimani.  A legal expert told Insider that Iran would have a good chance of winning any case at the ICC.

           Could we get so lucky?

Thank you, @lawrence! That means a lot. And I feel very much the same; it's shocking how quickly (and much) the astrological timing hit T. Down the road, I feel sure it'll become one of the most cited cases in historical astrology.

If Parnas had audio recordings, I have to think they'll hit soon. Everything else is flying out of that tornado—and at warp speed. Perhaps @polarberry's notice will be prescient. (Let us pray.)

@lenor, this is incredible.

I did about two minutes of frenzied digging to see what would happen if (as the article suggests), the president/US refuses to participate and is therefore held in contempt by the International Criminal Court. I'm not seeing it. Anyone else know?

If this ends up at The Hague and trump doesn't show up, it's possible he can be judged in absentia.  If convicted he'll never be able to travel internationally, out of fear of being detained by a foreign country. Which would suck for us because we'd be stuck with him for the remainder of his life.

Thanks, @lynnventura! Very helpful. Though, I'm less concerned about being stuck with him for the remainder of his life (given what many of us think are certain physical inevitabilities over the near-term), than I am about being stuck with his legacy and its corrosive impact on environmental, national, and foreign policy. I'm also concerned about any longstanding cult effect across the alt-right base.

In other news, I was just thinking about Fiona Hill's testimony in October when she stated that John Bolton had called Giuliani a "hand grenade who's going to blow everybody up."

Seems pretty clear tonight that Lev Parnas was the pin in the Rudy grenade.

@Vestralux is writing about what I feel is probably the most important concept for explaining what is happening now and what will happen in the future in many areas of life.  It describes climate change, political change, and cultural change. It also may describe our own psychological changes, and even how our bodies grow and then age. And if correct, it describes all phenomena including the movement of the solar system.

A unified field theory physicist, Nassim Heramein, has promulgated the water-down-the-drain phenomenon as an example of how change occurs in all forms in our world. It is his answer to how all matter and energy move, and that includes politics, explaining what Einstein was unable to explain, and known as the Unified Field Theory.  It hasn't been accepted by physicists, but that doesn't mean Heramein is wrong,  because scientists, usually conservative, are often the last ones to accept new ideas.

I have resonated with this theory ever since I first heard about it a decade ago.

Heramein took his idea from the ancient Yin-Yang symbol. BTW, the great physicist Isaac Newton also took his ideas from ancient concepts. Here is a depiction of it so you can see a 3-d visual of yin-yang.

The Yin Yang symbol shows two opposite energies changing back and forth. You can't actually see this image in 3-d form unless you construct in your mind an hour glass with sand flowing down while something else is flowing up - all through a bottle neck or drain. Those smaller circles in the Yin Yang symbol are the drain holes.

While water is flowing down a drain, air is rushing up to take its place. Black holes in outer space flow in the same way. The visible star of light flows down a drain and darkness flows up to take its place, forming the black hole.

If Heramein is correct, then all energy and matter move in this way.  Consciousness, civilization, culture, the solar system and the earth, and our lives are moving swiftly towards the center of a drain.

As we approach the center, things speed up, just the way @Vestralux explained.

In our contemporary world, darkness is the top energy, the one we see that dominates our culture.

The Hindu Kali Yuga philosophy also describes a cyclical energy in civilization where we are now in the darkest phase of a patriarchal system.  This system is quickly entering the center of the drain.  It will give way to a matriarchal system which hundreds of years later will evolve to an even more enlightened matriarchal system. Kali Yuga says that the entire system takes  12,000 years to complete the cycle. We are nearing the end of a 3,000 year darkest patriarchal age.  Some Kali Yuga scholars believe that the year 2025 may be the point when the matriarchal age begins.  Others say it will take longer. I believe there are changes within changes.  Before I knew about this theory, I saw a shift happening around 2025-8 where women light workers (not Nikki Haley-type dark women but true light worker women) would become U.S. leaders.

I don't claim I know the exact year of shift as it was just one vision. I also find it hard to believe that a powerful shift will happen in one fell swoop.  The world first has to experience a severe wake up to climate change. But I do feel we may see some kind of shift around that time.  If it happens sooner, say in November, then great!  I think it is interesting that both Putin and Trump will not be able to maintain power past 2024 if they even last that long.

In any case, darkness, i.e., a dark patriarchal age that has escalated to its ultimate extreme, is accelerating right now, along with climate change,  as we enter the center of a drain.  All of that darkness is quickly approaching the center of the drain.  So events are speeding up.

And just as water is speeding down the drain, air is rushing up the drain. Light workers are expanding, people are awakening, and rising.  When will the singularity, as some call it, happen?

When will we find ourselves in the biggest paradigm shift in our lives?

This post is too long now,  but I want to add that we are now in a climate shift as well. I mean that climate change is now escalating once again.  And as climate change escalates, so will light workers rise up stronger, and Donald Trump go down the drain.

Welcome, @dracaena! I'm so glad that you're posting.

Also, your screen name delights me because it instantly brought to mind Cleve Backster, the CIA interrogation specialist and polygrapher, whose work weirdly led him to discover the emotional intelligence of plants. Maybe you know the story, but he hooked a dracaena cane that was in his office up to a polygraph to see if he could get a reaction and the rest was history. (Written about in The Secret Life of Plants.)

I'll just say that I don't think Giuliani is going to have a comfortable retirement in Connecticut. I've taken a look at his natal chart for you, too. What strikes me is all those 29-degree angels and points! His Ascendant/Descendant and Midheaven/Imum Coeli angels are on the final degree of the mutable signs. And his Vertex and East Point sit atop his Asc and Dsc on the 29th degree of Virgo and Pisces respectively.

All of that tells me that Rudy's in the final act of a calamitous karmic cycle. Vertex points to fated or karmic encounters, to someone(s) you will meet who changes everything. His Vertex is sitting precisely on top of his Descendant in the 7th House, which represents the other or others you're facing/dealing with, often in legal contracts, business dealings, or a marriage. And it points to one's open enemies.

This is happening for him in Pisces, whose ruler, Neptune, demands that we wake up to the truth of who we are, live from our integrity, and live into our soul purpose or calling. If we refuse (either directly or through dissociation, apathy, etc.), the result will be confusion, illusion, delusion, and perhaps intoxication (substance issues), potentially mental illness, or worse. The fact that this is happening in the final degree of Pisces suggests that Rudy is facing a long-fated showdown of the soul. He's almost certainly played this out many times before—perhaps as a corrupt prosecutor in the witch trials, or the corrupt mayor of a colonial settlement, etc.

Will he choose evolution or destruction this time around?

I'll also mention that the earth-shaking astrological events of Jan 10th and 12th were inconjunct (difficult aspect) to his Moon and Jupiter in Leo in the 11th House. @lawrence might be able to shed better light here, but my read on this is that Rudy's undergoing some intense mental distress and/or confusion (Moon) about now, and it's playing out for everyone around him (11th House) to see. Jupiter is so close to his Moon, which is only expanding that issue. But looked at on its own, the Pluto-Saturn transit to his natal Jupiter (in Leo) almost certainly speaks to the legal ramifications he will shortly face as a result of the truth (so much) tumbling out.

Karmic angles, indeed.

So interesting you mention intoxication/substance issues because his ex-wife has implied he's an alcoholic.  Olivia Nuzzi did a recent interview with him that was published in the New Yorker and he basically looks like he's got a drinking problem.  Google Oliva Nuzzi/ Guiliani to find it.  It's short and kind of nuts.  He comes off as someone who needs a caretaker.

Welcome @dracaena!

Good Sunday morning of a week that promises to be ..notably historical in the lives of all Americans. I can not shake the feeling that though it will be made abundantly clear ......that though the Present Lump HAS been shown to have done all that he is accused of with his tribe of sycopants .... he will not be removed by the Senate even if he is found guilty. Parnas has released too much information that dovetails and corroborates previous testimony given. Even if no one else is allowed to testify...it's abundantly clear what is going on to anyone.... if anyone says they do not see it, it is because they chose to be deliberately blind to it. I have seen articles floating around that Parnas worked for Fred Trump the Orange Bloats sire. I believe his attempt to "give up" info to prevent what happened to Epstein from happening to him... is a valid fear and a quite possible outcome. It would be interesting to see the cards on Parnas. In the coming days of the trial I feel that it will be made abundantly clear to all of us just who needs to stay in office and who needs to go. I still see Trump having major health issues that "require" him to step down from office and the rest of entourage stepping very lightly to avoid falling down the abyss with him. We are going to be a shaken people who will be inspired to get to the polls in November and vote out the rats on the ship.

Agreed. I'm feeling like it's a group karma for T and these souls. Karma has come due. Many lifetimes of dirty deeds.

My astrologer friend (ex) and I were discussing Ts chart last night. Regarding the Saturn-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn opposite his natal Saturn, he predicted that Jan 2020 was "the beginning of the end of T" two years ago. And here we are.
