You may be correct but if you have strong feelings about this, especially strong fears, you will pull your fears. You pulled a card that told you how you see the world.  I don't know what will happen, although I have finished compiling Read the Future night and about to send out an email about it.  I can say that the vast majority saw a blue sweep.  I feel it's going to be a tricky election or I should say a trick-filled election.

I keep feeling we're fighting battles we will lose, for now anyway.  I never see the opposition regaining control of the executive or judicial branches.

So to me, this is a vigil mourning the death of democracy itself.

Last night I meditated and decided to pull one tarot card (Rider Waite deck). My question was: Will Drumpf or his minions win the election next year?  The card I pulled was The Emperor (upright).  I took this to mean that TPTB will be happy with the result, that all will go well for them, that power will continue to consolidate to the top. This did not make me happy...

But I'm not the best at tarot interpretation so I'm open to others.

Yes- maybe it's just my mood right now more than anything, but it does feel like a vigil for our democracy. Good thing I don't use tarot anymore; my readings were always a reflection of my own mental/emotional state (when I used to do a reading for myself), especially if my question was about a situation with a specific outcome I was attached to. Hopefully things will change for the better...

If anyone wants a sneak preview of the 11-11 Read the Future predictions, I would like to get a website donation of $15 or more.  The process took about 40 hours of work and contributions will help pay web costs.  If you already donate monthly, I am sending them to you today compliments. I will post them on the site in another few days.

Hi Laura, I typically pull my fear whenever I ask about this or anything for myself. But today I was feeling less fearful and "in the zone". I meditated quickly - the way I did for read the future night. I breathed in and out and started speaking in tongues! I pulled one card after asking "Will there be a person who is running as a democrat as POTUS in the year 2021 after the next election?"

I Pulled a Queen of pentacles and I clarified it with the Emperor. I did it one more time and pulled the Star card (Rider waite) I take that as a yes, however I felt obstacles in the path. (election interference)

@TriciaCT - I am sorry, but I don't understand your question. Would you mind clarifying it a little bit?

Are you seeing another election in 2021 after the inauguration? Sorry, I'm confused.

Namasté

sorry for the confusion. I asked the question as "who will be Potus in 2021, after the next election".  (I typo'd in my first response). I asked it that way in case (in back of my mind) there is any obstacles after the actual election or delays. (I just updated that posting - thanks for the catch)

This makes sense to me. During the last Democratic debate even though I was rooting for Warren and Harris I clearly heard from Spirit President Klobuchar instead of Senate Klobuchar. If she's not the next president she will definitely be the Democratic presidential candidate. I found it so odd because Klobuchar was not even in my radar.

Thanks for the donations.  I am sending out the Sneak Preview shortly to your email. I am still copy editing it so by the time it is posted here, it will be a little different.

Your Emperor Tarot card and your feeling that the people in @Baba's vision were grieving the dying of democracy resonates with me although I feel they weren't grieving its death. I feel they were sending light to an institution that has been desecrated. They were putting protection over it, and honoring it.  Pouring light into it, and yes, grieving over what has been done to it.

I love your vision @baba

No president who came before this one, even the awful Richard Nixon, and certainly not Clinton, has ever tried to destroy this democracy.  Nixon tried to get away with a crime, was avaricious too, and I couldn't stand the guy.  But when he resigned and was asked to pardon his guilty accomplices, he said, no, because it would not be honorable to do that.

Donald Trump and the Republican Party are willfully, knowingly trying to destroy the world's longest lived democracy. 250 years of service, thousands of lives sacrificed, and millions of people who devoted their lives to upholding this democracy are now being stamped on by a small number of rogue villains in the name of personal greed.

I don't have to tell you how they are trying to destroy our democracy. No president has ever issued a broad order to his staff not to cooperate with a Congressional investigation. Never has an entire party sat through hearings that fully and clearly exposed wrongdoing and then turned their heads away and said nothing happened. Nothing was shown.  No president has given over the country to an enemy.   I shudder to imagine any of his family or staff in the White House.

It has felt like an occupation by an enemy to me.  This is a desecration.

Yesterday's New Yorker interview of Schiff said so much to me. He and the reporter were as solemn as those standing in vigil outside the WH:

There were so many moments in the hearings that summed up Trump.  But Schiff said the moment that stood out for him was the testimony of Sondland's conversation with Holmes.

"Holmes had asked Sondland, “'Does the President give a shit about Ukraine?” As Holmes testified, the answer was no, he only cares about “the big stuff.” Well, Holmes pointed out, there is big stuff happening in Ukraine, like a war with Russia, but Sondland said no, that was not what he meant. Trump only cared about matters that concerned him, like the investigations. “That says it all,” Schiff told me. “The President doesn’t give a shit about what’s good for our country, what’s good for Ukraine. It’s all about what’s in it for him personally..." In that small moment in an obscure diplomat’s testimony, Schiff reflected, was the impeachment case in all its brazen simplicity. “That is a perfect summary,” he said, “of this whole scheme.”

Makes me want to rush to the White House and hold a candle and pray for those walls to undo the desecration.

I just kicked in $30, may I have "two" accesses?  One for myself and one for a person of your choosing who may not have contributed money but may be a frequent contributor to the site OR you get the energetic hit that they would really appreciate the early viewing.

Thanks!
