New York extended its social distancing mandate until the end of April. Also, a tiger in Bronx Zoo contracted COVID-19.

I think it is probable that some people are seeing things better in May and others June and others in July because the waves hit us differently depending upon where we are living.  We may all be correct.

A doctor friend was on a mass conference call with other doctors last week.  Based upon an expert who is trying to develop a treatment for Covid-19, her belief is that we will not have schools in session and be really out and about until September, the earliest it appears that a treatment will be tested and available.  If a good treatment does become available, it will be a game changer for sure.

This is kinda crazy and totally cool at the same time.

MLB is considering play an abbreviated season entirely in Arizona without fans..  Phoenix has tons of Spring training/ minor league baseball stadiums in addition to Chase Field, home of the Diamondbacks. Phoenix also has empty hotels where an entire team could stay for the shortened season.  They also have empty restaurants where single teams could take over for food.  imagine a live sporting event taking place again??

Good News from NY Cuomo said that social distancing is working.

NY state of Health has developed a test for testing antibodies and he is awaiting for FDA approval and bring it to scale. So they can test people to see if you had the virus and therefore now able to go back to work.

Sadly,  we lost over 731 New Yorkers.

Here in Tennessee, We are u to 4,138 cases and we have sadly lost 72. My heart goes out to all of their families, but on a slightly more positive note 466 have recovered <3

My mom was called to go to work to make face masks. It has been two weeks since the social distancing protocol went into effect that she could not work. The boss drove her car to pick her up.

Do you think the Trump administration will be sued by all the family members of the deceased for his handling of the Covid-19? Since he knew about this and never prepared the country? So many people are dying that should still be alive if it wasn’t for him and his handlers.

There are a bunch of conspiracy theories going on out there related to COVID-19.  Most I have become aware of are stupid and simple logic would disprove them.  But others are asking people to do things they shouldn't to "prove" hospitals or testing centers are in on it.

I actually debunked one a friend posted.  While she accepted what I debunked and thanked me, she continued to believe the rest of the information from the same "article".  Seriously, if you can prove part is false, why would you believe the rest is likely true?  Same source...

The crazies are running amok, be forewarned.

Lovendures, thanks for bringing this up. Agree with you that they are out there and we won't be posting any of them on this site. When I think about that junk I start getting flu symptoms.  I've had some emailed to me because they know they can't post them here and it is designed to obscure the truth.  We have to focus on healing and light.

@deetoo He also canceled school for the remainder of the year. My other half is writing lesson plans for her students to access online.

My unit is next in line to become a special pathogens unit, i.e. Covid 19. I’m apprehensive and it’s wreaking havoc on the intuitive parts of my nature. The source of my apprehension has to do with the Feds seizing states’ needed medical supplies or PPE.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/virginia-e2-80-99s-senators-call-on-federal-government-to-explain-seizures-of-medical-supplies/ar-BB12rMwM

Does anyone have a sense if this will be a factor for the duration? If so, many HCWs will be hurt or worse.

does anyone here have a sense or *psychic* sense on when this coronovirus will end?

 The reason I am asking; I read this morning that this virus may not respond to a vaccine.  Instead, to treat the patient with cocktails of medicine and a blend of other drugs similar to an HIV patient.  Seriously, we are heading into doomsday if this shelter in place goes on through the summer.

since this  is NOW an airborne virus/disease, it's appears the entire US medical field is so overwhelmed and understaffed, they're on the verge of collapsing.

if this does not undo Trump, I will move back to Hawaii.  it's a socialist state there.  expensive, but you are not forgotten!

 I am thinking lifting the shelter in place by May 1st may be too soon.  This economy won't be able to sustain us, and Trump will pay dearly for it.

Perhaps, by June 1st would be a better target?

@stillnessnmind

Sorry to reiterate a point a made earlier, and fair warning - it's not sunny.

The US is currently engaged in a form of GENOCIDE.

I don't use that word lightly. It's genocide by negligence and malevolence. Sure, it's not death squads going door to door, "just" a virus, but the outcome is the same: many poor, disenfranchised, minority, sickly/disabled people dead. Less expensive than a war, just as effective. If) it wasn't horrific it wold be funny how the Rethuglicans got their petticoats in a twist (lookin' at you, Ms. Graham) about ACA and how there would be "death panels" deciding which old people to kill off by not giving them needed medical treatment. And that's exactly what's happening now, only it's doctors who have to make these difficult triage decisions.  So the malevolent side of the equation means that the government, besides being corrupt and incompetent, is also acting as an agent of evil. Let's make a list:

  • Denying the severity of the disease
  • Denying the number of cases
  • Pitting states against each other for supplies
  • Seizing needed supplies and selling them to other countries for profit
  • The notion that old people are ok with dying to save the economy
  • Distributing tests that are inaccurate/defective
  • Not suspending patent laws so people can manufacture their own equipment to scale
  • Encouraging use of pharmaceuticals with unproven value while discouraging use of drugs that may be more effective, by not allowing enough emergency trial usages of those drugs
  • Not requiring EVERY state to lock down
  • Not really enforcing anything related to lock down right now (so that when it gets even worse, people beg for what amounts to martial law, and we'll probably get it)
  • Making voters in Wisconsin have to choose between staying home and not voting, or risk infection by voting in person, while making sure no federal resources were given to keep enough polling places open
  • Withdrawing federal funding for different assistance programs
  • Insufficient monetary help to taxpayers (which will probably never arrive in our bank accounts or mailboxes ever, I predict) while bailing out corporations at taxpayers' expense

The rifle that is pointed in all our faces is this virus, make no mistake. Imagine for a minute that death squads were a thing. There's a solider standing outside your front door pointing a rifle at you, but it's filled with coronavirus instead of bullets. That's where we are today.

@sunny

If you read back over our many posts and predictions, I think the general intuitive consensus is that restrictions will be lifted too soon, the virus will rebound in the Fall, will dissipate by summer of 2021, but then there will be another pandemic around 2030.

I would consider Hawaii too, but with climate change that may be jumping from the frying pan into the fire...

In fact, this pandemic is basically a fire drill for what will happen with climate change if/when things go back to "normal".

@sunny

HI Sunny, I pulled three cards from my Rider Waite because I heard an actual date when I read your question. I heard "May 20th". Now in my mind I don't believe it can be gone by an exact date of May 20th, but perhaps it will subside by mid May. So I threw 3 cards and asked my guides "will the virus be on it's way out by mid May". I got a yes! I pulled:  Five of swords, Ace of Wands and 10 of cups!

I certainly hope I'm right!?
