So truly sorry @goldstone.

Your country has not been alone in making really poor choices. The U.S. rules as the all around fools. But we're all getting smarter the hard way.

And thank goodness medical workers are our earth angels and scientists will end up as our saviors in this crisis.

So many all.over the world are in their research  labs day and night experimenting with so many, many drugs that might slow or take this plague of a virus down!

I just reas this today out of Sydney:

Anti-parasitic drug kills COVID-19 in lab

Interesting according to this podcast, crime has gone down a fair bit due to the lockdown in Melbourne. Especially in murders.

But family violence will eventually spike at some point, especially once the lockdown is lifted, due to the victims are trapped, sadly.

Then there's also the fear of alcohol fuel violence going to have a spike as soon the pubs reopen due to the unemployment issues.

Recently, like all other places, Australia is easing it's restrictions in all states, even Victoria itself. Although Victoria was still very stringent about it... probably the right call considering we have another cluster of new cases poping up, in a meat works factory.

On my personal end, my friend who's in charge of the studio, still didn't lift up the restrictions on the amount of members in the workspace at the same time (2 per person). I don't blame him, but I was shocked at his changed viewpoint, when his reaction was shock and paranoia after a discussion on 'too soon' topic. Months ago, he's was the one who tries to tell me to relax, despite the news of the extensive damage that the virus was spreading across the world. To be fair, the virus did not dig deeper into our community until weeks later.

My home city Melbourne is going through a second lockdown after the virus is emerging and spreading like a wildfire. I know a lot of people were upset about it, but to be honest I'm not too sad about it, especially after seeing in other parts of the world are handling it worse.

*Cough, Brazil, Cough*

The regional areas in my state were spared from the restrictions that Melbourne has to face, but my whole state is being shut out from the rest of the country, which I feel for those that might be troubled by it, but again it's for the best.

I'm more concerned about the political fallout with the current Victorian Government. I'm not a fan of Daniel Andrew's administration, especially with their recent handling of the hard lockdown of the public towers (It's the Australian version of the Projects) were left to be desired, I would still rather deal with his government over any Liberal administration (Especially with the Morrison Government).

Hope we don't end up dealing with a Liberal administration after this. Because the last time we had a Liberal administration, it went well (not). In fact, it was their fault that the situation with the Public Housings in the first place, among other things.
