I just want to share what I believe might be a life changing experience for me.  I had a remote viewing exercise with a nice group of people (the predictions will be posted by Jeanne soon).  During the exercise, I was  reminded of my first Remote Viewing excersise on December 22nd 2017.  I’ve consider that date the beginning of my spiritual journey.

Every time we have a Reading the Future event, I learn more and more about doing remote viewing.  The main thing I've learned over the last couple of years is to do what comes naturally to me and to not box myself in with processes.  The very few times I tried spontaneous writing, I found myself being influenced by what others were writing.  So, I've learned to use my own method: voice recording is what is better for me.  I'm not worry about the typing, the language I use to convey my premonitions, and what others are writting

Whenever I do remote viewing, I float over what looks like the map of the world. I see yellow bright lights or different shades of grey.  As time went on, I tried to investigate what they meant so that I could be more precise in my visions.  It wasn't easy, I was still too rigid in following "rules" that didn't exist.  Also, floating around the world map when you’re weak in geography doesn’t make it easy either.  I’m planning on investing into a good World Map before November 1th 2019.

Whenever there is a reading the future event, I'm like a scribe, I take the chat file from Zoom and the many Word documents sent to Jeanne and enter the information in a database to categorize the predictions and have a streamlined format to post on the website. I would always do everyone else’s before my own, and not really look at what I came up with.  Everyone else is coming up with so much information, good information, that my bright and grey/dark stuff didn’t mean much of anything to me.  Besides, I was never really remembering what I saw, so it probably wasn’t as important.  Or so I thought.

I think I will remember October 9th 2019 as another important date in this spiritual journey.  We were a smaller group.  As Jeanne was calling out the time frames, I didn’t force myself to let go of one vision to move on to the next month or the next year.    So, I hung on to the pictures coming to me and spoke to it in my voice recorder, describing them in more details before moving on to the next thing.

After the session, I transcribed my visions in the database first.  I became more aware of what my visions were.  Since I’m very curious, I researched some of them.  For example, I saw drought in North West Australia and around a blue lake.  I rolled my eyes as I was transcribing thinking not only am I bad at geography, but I am now colour blind.  I was aware there was a pink lake in Australia, not a blue lake.  As it turns out there are both a Blue lake and a Pink lake.  I was freaking out about the accuracy of my vision:  there is a lake that is of a cobalt blue color from December to March in Australia (summer months).  It’s not in Australia’s North West but that’s OK, geography is still a weak spot.  It hasn’t come to past yet, but I saw the Blue Lake which I didn’t know existed.

There were a lot of information I came up with I had never realized I new nothing about.  I also got excited when I saw some similarity between some of my visions with other people’s predictions.

Don’t sell yourself short when having visions.  They say everyone has psychic abilities.  I think they are right!

Oh, that’s so exciting.  I’ve always felt uncertain of my own RV process and enjoyed reading about yours.  I can’t wait to read your other predictions.

@bluebelle  I've read most of your RVs and they are amongst the most accurate!  I was thinking of your's and Jeanne's when I tried to get a clearer picture.  They are so beautifully written and well defined.  That is what I was aiming for.

Thanks, Bright Opal, this was helpful and encouraging. I was thinking of bowing out of the Read the Future efforts for fear of muddying the waters with my humble attempts to receive information. I've only participated in a few, and it seems I've had a small amount of success, but not much. But I do still feel pulled to participate and learn.

I've also meant to be much more of a participant on the forum and also always have great intentions to type up my Read the Future notes in sentence form for Jeanne, and then events in my own life become too consuming and I fail to achieve this. (It's been a very busy year on all fronts for me, as it has been for many people.) I do believe we all have these gifts as you mentioned. The trick is learning to translate what we receive into something usable and useful.

If that empath test was accurate, I did score very high in the traits, 18 or 19, I think of 20. I regularly make use of intuition in my work and in my life, but making predictions is something else!  I had some success with predictive dreaming, but all these things are quite squishy and I'm not at all confidant that I can contribute, but I can see that even folks who have great abilities like you and BlueBelle continue to aspire to get better. So this post tells me to be patient and keep trying to figure it out.

Thanks.

I am thinking of joining the Read the future night, but I'm still on the fence. I haven't made too many predictions I've never done any remote viewing but wondering if that matters?

None of that matters.  There is no pressure.  You may learn something and you have nothing to lose and may actually gain something in the process.  You should join in if you can!

@lovendures

I actually did decide to sign up and I'm so looking forward to it. ?

When I met my my dear friend Sue (psychic/medium/mentor) I was in my late 20s. I actually called her for a reading. She told me right away that I too was psychic (though I didn't think so!) and I should start learning the tarot and just doing readings. We lived in different states so we had not met until almost a year later. We would call each other almost every day and she taught me how to tap into my intuition by asking me questions. I started mediating and contacting my spirit guides etc. She taught me once to ask who my guide was and that I would hear a name. So I meditated one day and heard, clearly: "Haniel". I had never heard that name before. I told her and she laughed, because she said "no wonder your gift is in helping those with understanding emotions/love". Turns out Haniel is the archangel of communication and love. As soon as I heard the name a face appeared in my bedroom dresser of someone and it's still there in the berl wood. The face is somewhat more masculine than feminine.

When she passed away, something in me sort of "froze". I lost my mom suddenly at 22, (my mom was very psychic and knew a week prior that she was going to die) and when I lost Sue in 2004 (who told me she too was going to die at 54, which she did) I gradually stopped doing readings and meditating.

Fast forward to now (I'm 59) and I found this site of people who are igniting this part of me again. I feel like there's a part of me that has been locked away and suppressed. I realize I may have been closing it off due to the emotional losses of the past.

I look forward to learning more from all of you! Every day I learn more by just reading the topics of this forum. Thank you all. ?
