Ok so this is odd. I decided to do another reading for the upcoming week re: CV's impact on the national level.

Now let me preface this by saying I shuffled very well and used a process that results in my choosing a completely random card each time. And yet -- I pulled many of the same cards from the previous reading.

March 12 reading: Fool, Hermit, Princess of Wands, Death, Queen of Wands

March 19 reading: Queen of Wands, Death, Hermit, Fool, Chariot

I feel as though the first two-thirds of the week will continue to make for bumpy going, but what has my curiosity most piqued is the Fool and Chariot combo at the end there. I'm wondering if, by the end of next week, we might not see a positive development, perhaps a leap forward in treatment?

I don't consider myself a strong intuitive so as always your thoughts are welcome ūüôā

@sistermoon I was inspired by your reading to create a special Tarot section just for reading the pandemic. Your method is very cool - you asked the same question during two time periods and gave us a chance to compare. You have a gift for innovative ways to read the cards.

I agree with you that there will be some good treatment news coming. I also see that the cards are very high level cards - Trump cards and Court Cards, indicating an epic situation.   We are in a game changing, culture changing situation in which everything seems to be moving fast and big changes are happening every day.  There are no bad cards.  The Death card says we are going to be letting go of old ways.  It seems to loom over us  but the Collective does not know yet what it means. It is coming closer, though.

Death coming closer: As the reports from Italy show a catastrophic death  rate (double the Chinese) because their medical system cannot handle the surge of severe cases, the U.S. Collective is becoming aware that the same may happen here. Did we shelter quickly enough?  No we did not. We didn't even have tests. One hope that is not in the cards yet, is treatments, like drugs.  We need to get those antivirals out to people.

The FOOL-- Donald Trump-- moves further back in your line of cards the second week because people have no use for a FOOL - full of hype, naive, inexperienced in a catastrophic emergency.  The Fool also represents the nativity of the American people.  Naivety is moving further away next week.

In the FOOL'S place is the QUEEN OF WANDS- a strong protector, someone who is doing her best to protect the people.  She is the female-based democratic Congress, the Katie Porters.   But she cannot hand out medical care, only entitlement to medical care and money.

The HERMIT is the American people sheltering in place, isolating selves.

The CHARIOT indicates that we are going to be going it alone, independent state and local action to deal with a crisis that the Federal Government utterly and totally has failed and will continue to fail to do.

This entire process is a dry run for what is going to happen when climate change ramps up. Both the Virus and Climate Change are exponential processes of nature.

The Universe is giving humans a chance to get ready for climate change which will be far more devastating than this little virus.  I think we will learn our lesson from the virus - the harsher the lesson, the more likely we will learn.

@sistermoon, I wonder if you would keep using the cards to read the pandemic and we can respond here. You've got me intrigued with your method.

That goes for anyone here who wants to throw cards about the pandemic. I love seeing what you get, especially if you are using my favorite deck, the Thoth or the Osho Zen.

@jeanne-mayell

Sometimes I get a download as @vestralux would say.  Or a thought that persistently comes to mind until I pay attention as @Lawrence might say.  So, for several days, I've been getting something about the ICE detainment centers and people being released.  This morning when I woke, I had a very strong premonition that the administration will not want the expense and inconvenience of taking care of the coronavirus spread within the population in this facilities.  They are going to open these centers and dump people, men, women and children and they will have to fend for themselves.  What I am getting is that some will be transported and released without papers, without money, without food in another country, maybe some in this country.  I also think they will wait until the country is preoccupied with a massive, tragic news story when they do this, trying to keep it off the public radar.  It's inhumane, but that's what I'm seeing.  I hope I'm wrong.  Is anyone else getting this premonition?

@bluebelle

1. In August of last year, I posted a premonition I kept getting that an outbreak of illness/disease was going to hit detention centers and crucially change things on that front. I thought it could be something like typhoid or even Measles. Well, here we are amidst a totally novel viral pandemic.

2.  I've been feeling a growing anxiety about a major natural disaster possibly hitting while we're all focused on COVID.

With this, I'm less certain about what I see and whether it isn't more an impression coming from the mounting collective anxiety (although I am 100% convinced the two things are linked in our reality). My claircognizance has been less fluid and clear with recent astronomical energies impacting me/all of us.

Maybe these two things confirms what you're feeling? I don't know. But I am also 100% convinced that this Administration is just waiting for an opportunity to offload all those detainees, and will do everything in its power to distract, divert, manipulate, and spin the truth. They're in a PR race while the rest of us are waiting for actual leadership.

More than ever, I'm praying for the detainees and other immigrants. On both sides of the border, what we're doing is paramount to a call to war. It's unconscionable and deeply, absolutely inhumane.

@vestralux @jeannemayell

We need to focus on these people in detention centers in our meditation next Wednesday.  There are so many, many people already in need without the additional burden of trying to survive the pandemic.

Hello light working friends-

to Bluebelles and VestraLux point... I have also had thoughts coming the last two days about the kids in these places. I remember someone predicted something bad coming out about the children. It feels like the virus somehow plays into this “thought’ that keeps coming up for me. Maybe it is just that they will release them and it is not a health crisis but I do worry about the kids.

If they didn't keep records of their parents' and guardians' information, where exactly are they going to send them?

@bluebelle

I didn't want to mention it because I did not want to give any energy to thoughts.... I had a dream Tuesday a week ago.. of a lot of elementary school aged children being loaded on school buses and taken out on a long ride....then.. the buses were parked ...left with the doors open and the windows down and the children just sitting there in their seats with their back packs...and the bus driver got out and walked away... it was in a desert looking area with mountains in the distance.... then.. it faded to evening and a bear came to attack the children trying to get in to them.. I ran towards them and grabbed a broom (who knows from where .. crazy dream)and began the beat the bear around its face and on top of its head as hard as I could swing it... so hard that when I hit its head it sunk into its shoulders , making its eyes blink and dust flying from its fur. I was yelling to the children to get off the bus and run while I held it off. They began to stream out across the sand running so hard their little backpacks were banging up and down on their backs their hair and clothes whipping in the breeze they made. I woke up heart pounding , mouth dry and mere feet from the bears face. I felt... it was related to the children being held because I was meditating on them as I went to sleep and sending them Light and Love.

A few nights ago I had a dream about one's diet having an impact on whether a COVID patient experiences complications or not. In my dream, I believe it was being reported that a vegan diet can help avoid complications. Curious to know what others think about this.

Yesterday I read something patients with high-glycemic diets experiencing more complications. (I do not have a link for this, although I will try to find it.)

@sistermoon  That's a good dream!

Not particular to the Covid-19 virus, but it has long been established in holistic circles that a non dairy, low sugar, low glycemic, diet is better especially for colds and fighting off flu.

Whenever I've been sick over the years, my body tells me to stop taking in dairy, that it is making me worse. My body also tells me to stop drinking coffee and other stimulants that make your condition too yin.  Also get off dairy and eat clean.  Daily drinks of hot broth, with lemon, ginger, and turmeric, maybe some coconut oil or olive oil should be helpful.

I had two dreams last year about eating animals.  One dream was to stop eating dairy because of the suffering it causes the animals. I did some research after that and was sad to see what cows and goats suffer to give us their milk.  Then in another dream the message was clear to not eat any animal that I myself would not be willing to slaughter personally.  In other words, the dream was saying to take responsibility for the suffering I cause in any creature whose body I am taking from.

Now I am going to be honest and say that due to a digestive issue - which others on this blog have also said they have, I have not been able to find what I need in a vegan diet. But now that I am in this epidemic, I have given up animal food completely and am going to figure it out.  I just know that is what I need to do right now.

Also want to add that this post is not evidence-based, it's just what I learned in holistic circles and the dream and that message is my own.

Meats, particularly liver, are great sources of zinc and also vitamin D. You don't want to be short on zinc with this disease . Treatments are beeing attempted with zinc ionophores (hydroxichloroquine and quercetin). They won't work on zinc depleted pacients.

I'm sorry to say it is no time to curtail on murder. Perhaps some other time.

Have a nice quarantine.

@thebeast

I should clarify that I myself am not vegan, which is why I was surprised by the dream. I was certainly not advocating anyone suddenly adopt a vegan lifestyle based on a single dream of mine! I was more interested to know what others thought about it. And yes, I am aware of the importance of zinc -- I have been taking Vitamin D, C, and zinc supplements daily.

Unfortunately if my surviving the 'rona comes down to eating liver, I better start getting my affairs together now 🤣 🤣 🤣 (I have awful memories of being forced to eat liver as a child.)

Personally I think the best bet is to try and decrease inflammation as much as possible. To that end, I am eating low sugar, low dairy, and grass-fed meat. Not giving up caffeine because a gal can only do so much.

@sistermoon I am finding a low sugar tonic water diluted helps me.  important that it does not have corn syrup for some reason. If your body can tolerate jell-o, making it with grass fed granules has a lot of gut healing properties. You can sweeten with stevia and a juice you choose. Some do well with bone broths, but for me if boiled too long histamine becomes a problem.

Small amounts of beet and cabbage raw kraut with no garlic also helpful to me.  Perhaps to others as well.

In terms of liver, in order to make it palatable, grass fed veal marinated in  org milk for flavor and quickly cooked in ghee is tasty. Small amounts are kinda key. 3-4 oz.

in terms of my gut feeling about the pandemic.  I think the worst will be this year.  There will be upticks, but unfortunately, unless and i do not rule this out, some billionaires decide to suddenly become generous with supplies and other things, it's going to be tough.

Coronavirus + Astrology

The coronavirus outbreak is reflected in astrology, or the mathematical angle between planets. There is a rare aspect between Pluto & Jupiter, both in the sign of Capricorn that will last all year. Saturn, also in the sign of Capricorn, forms an aspect with Pluto.

There are other planets + factors at play too, as everything is connected. Below is my understanding of the major astrological forces behind the spread of the virus.

Planet:

Pluto (in Capricorn)- deals with power, issues of authority, financial matters, masses of people, viruses

*Pluto is a powerful planet that entered Capricorn in 2008. It destroys everything that does not serve the highest good of all.

Jupiter (in Capricorn)- Jupiter amplifies, expands all that it touches, a planet of miracles

Saturn (in Capricorn)- planet of karma

Sign:

Capricorn, ruled by Saturn. Exposes vulnerability, lessons, consequences for our collective + personal actions.

Pluto + Jupiter will meet 3 times in 2020. The energies of these planets are not confined by time, so the dates are +/- several weeks.

-April 4, 2020: both planets will be strong. The virus is forecasted to spread exponentially Mar-May.

-June 30, 2020: both planets will be in retrograde, weakening the influence of the planets. The virus is forecasted to taper off this summer.

-Nov 12, 2020:  both planets will be strong. The virus could return in the fall.

As far as the virus disproportionately affecting populations around the globe, this too may be reflected in astrology.

Just as we have astrological signs based on our birthday/birth time, countries do too based on their independence or unification days.  Italy’s Republic day is June 2, making it a Gemini sun sign. Gemini rules the lungs. Coronavirus effects lungs.

There is some controversy about America’s rising sign. America is a cancer sun sign (July 4), and a possible Gemini rising sign. Some believe the rising sign is Sagittarius.

Nonetheless, the virus will transform the structures that need to be transformed.

**I am not an astrology expert, I just dabble.

@Nori your whole post has me so intrigued. Thank you for it.  I resonate with the mythology of Pluto, that it holds a key to our times. This latest point you made that it destroys everything that does not serve the highest good of all -- is so powerful to contemplate.  I feel it working in my own life and wonder how it affects others, especially now that we are all forced to stop and listen.

The myth of Pluto came to life for me right before the election and now I want to try to put it together with what you have posted.  Here is what I had gotten.  I posted this on the main Prediction Page of this site for about two years then took it down.  But now it's back for me:

Right before the 2016 election I had a vision of a battle going on between dark and light -- it looked like a furious sand storm, and then Pluto appeared as the winner. He was a strong man, and I knew at the moment that the GOP would win one way or another.

I begged spirit to tell me more.  I saw a small flower appear that I took to be Percephone, our goodness and our innocence, and also the flower has been a symbol for me of light workers. I see a flower whenever I'm giving a reading to someone who is a light worker.  I also felt the flower was nature and all of it's fruits and goodness. Finally, I felt the flower represented young women who would rise from all of this. I still think that.

I was reminded of the myth of the rape of Percephone where Pluto steals her away to his underworld.  Then her mother, the Goddess of the Grain, goes into grief and the land goes into famine. In the myth, when the land goes into famine as it is going to go with climate change, the people begged Zeus to make Pluto bring Percephone back.  So Zeus made Pluto bring her back and the land grew green again. I wondered if this was the story of our time.

Now when you say that Pluto also destroys everything that is not for the highest good of all -- it sparks a new even more potent symbolism about our times.  I want to put it all together but it is a lot to grasp.

I'm no expert in tarot reading, but considering my recent streaks that my personal readings were turn out to be correct, I would like to share some things I've been noticing while I made two seperate readings not relating to the coronavirus, but there's a strange pattern I've picked it up.

Both readings had some really awful cards turning up. At first I thought the reason why the cards are telling me "Not gonna happen" is due to the usual skullduggery of law enforcement politics muddling up, but one of the cards has the world card, just before the outcome card said along the lines of "Everyone aborting this case fast."

That made me confused at first, which made me wondered if I did something wrong there. Then the Covid-19 firestorm shows up on our doorsteps.

Looking back at the notes, I'd say that they were all pointing out that these cases will not have some decent closure due to the pandemic. If my intusition is accuarate, I wouldn't be surprised that the lack of closure is due to the key players dying from the virus, bringing their secrets to the grave.

The tarot can be frightenly accuarate once all the pieces comes together.

Ok everyone, I have completed this week's weekly Tarot reading on how the coronavirus will impact the US on a national level. Before that, however, I decided to recap my previous readings on the subject. Get ready for a whopper of a post (my apologies for the novel):

JANUARY 26

Cards: 4 of Cups / 10 of Coins / 8 of Swords

My reading: A past of apathy and self-absorption has led us to this current problem. In the present, people continue to attend social gatherings. Unfortunately oppression, confusion, and isolation will result. (Note: this was a Rider-Waite based Tarot; the others that follow all used the Thoth.)

MARCH 12

Cards: Fool / Hermit / Princess of Wands / Death / Queen of Wands

My reading: We are entering a new area of life and are, quite literally, entering the unknown. Now is the time to withdraw from the world as much as possible and prepare for change. Avoid the impulse to be irresponsible and careless; instead and let go of old ways of being. It is clear an end is here‚ÄĒbut a new beginning will emerge. We will need to call upon our inner strength and embrace the transformation that brings enlightenment. (The Queen of Wands could also symbolize the ‚Äúwomen rising‚ÄĚ future seen by many.)

@Frank had a slightly different interpretation of these cards: The Fool means we are embarking on a journey, with the Hermit indicating it will be one of introspection and soul searching. The Princess of Wands indicates that from this will come new ideas, inspiration and limitless potential resulting in the Death of old patterns and ideas. The Queen of Wands encourages us to have courage, confidence and determination in the face of this change.

MARCH 19

Cards: Queen of Wands / Death / Hermit / Fool / Chariot

My reading: This continues to be a period of change and transformation as the crisis surges. We must continue to hunker down and wait out this turbulent time. I am bolstered but the appearance of the Fool and Chariot combo at the end there and wonder if we might not soon see a positive development, perhaps a leap forward in treatment.

@jeanne-mayell interpreted these cards in this way: The cards are very high level cards - Trump cards and Court Cards, indicating an epic situation. The FOOL - Donald Trump - moves further back in your line of cards the second week because people have no use for a FOOL - full of hype, naive, inexperienced in a catastrophic emergency. The Fool also represents the naiveté of the American people. Naivety is moving further away next week. In the FOOL'S place is the QUEEN OF WANDS - a strong protector, someone who is doing her best to protect the people. She is the female-based democratic Congress, the Katie Porters. But she cannot hand out medical care, only entitlement to medical care and money. The HERMIT is the American people sheltering in place, isolating selves. The Universe is giving humans a chance to get ready for climate change which will be far more devastating than this little virus. I think we will learn our lesson from the virus - the harsher the lesson, the more likely we will learn.

MARCH 26

Cards: Queen of Wands / Emperor / 10 of Wands (Oppression) / 7 of Wands (Valour) / Queen of Cups

My reading: We continue in this period of tremendous change and transformation. This change is great and frightening, so it is not surprising that people would seek order, stability, and security ‚ÄĒ but a desire for order can easily give way to oppression. Oppression, however, has a positive result, as the courage of many comes to the forefront, especially those (perhaps nurses and doctors?) whose inner wisdom and intuition will be valuable in this time of crisis.

Thanks, all - as always, would love to know your thoughts and interpretations ūüôā

Also, I have to say: this Queen of Wands loves a corona reading, doesn't she? 🤔¬†

I should note it also occurred to me the Emperor was Governor Cuomo, but with Oppression immediately following it, I thought the card did not represent someone so acting in the best of our interests.

One thing that just occurred to me:

In last week's reading, I thought that the week would end (I generally do Thursday to Thursday/Friday) with a new beginning, a great leap forward. At the time I thought (or rather hoped) this might be referencing a positive development, but I just read that tonight the US has surpassed China and now has the most CV cases worldwide. That is certainly a leap of a different kind, unfortunately.

Don't forget the citizen journalists who are subverting oppressive governments to reveal the truth of the coronavirus in their own countries. This is happening in China and is probably taking place in Iran (I haven't checked). I think we can expect a surge of citizen journalism from India, where Narendra Modi (ideological cousin to #45) has just ordered a 3-weeks lockdown. Things in India are already turning chaotic, with pharmacists and grocers being unlawfully attacked and detained by police; states shutting their borders and stranding travelers; informal workers having no way to purchase food, The list goes on, and this is 20% of humanity we're talking about.

@sistermoon

"Unfortunately if my surviving the 'rona comes down to eating liver, I better start getting my affairs together now 🤣 🤣 🤣 (I have awful memories of being forced to eat liver as a child.)"

As do I! Because i grew up in Alaska it was moose and deer liver! And my dad heartily advocating for tongue and other even more disturbing organs--head meat, and even brain. Puullleasse, no no no!

My father was born in a huge pioneer Alaskan family where survival was entirely self dependent on survival and subsistence  skills and no part of a hunt was wasted. It was the waste of the gift of parts of an animal and many parts contained (as @thebeast noted ) essential vitamins and minerals etc.

Much like the indigenous native tribes of Alaska, also believed and practiced in native villages are still practiced by their children and grandchildren today.  It is not only their culture but intrinsically connected to their deepest spirituality of being one with the animal.

All animals are and were seen as sacred and holy gifts and hunting and using the gifts of them as part of all that is passed down and rituals from the ancestors.

The same could be seen and said of my own dad and his siblings and extended family.  They all used every part of the native animals and fish as well. It was common to be offered breaded and fried fish cheek patties or potato and fish eyeball soup by my Finnish grandmother.

Needless to say in spite of our double pioneer DNA (Finnish from my dad and French from our mother) most of us five kids were initially overly finicky and even highly resistant, much to their dismay.

As a result, the five of us kids, ate a lot of homemade bread and ketchup sandwiches instead.

But as @jeanne-mayell has said and all 3 of my adult children as well-- If we insist on eating meat (particularly in the decades to come) we need to be willing to kill it--or in my personal  case participate in the process afterwards of preserving and using it as I have.

My husband and kids have all hunted, carted out and cleaned as well as hung  up the meat animal (for weeks as required) before cutting apart and wrapping many deer, elk, and home raised pork or beef as well.

I am still finicky. I prepare the butchering setups and supplies give thanks and prayers of gratitude to the spirits of animals who sacrifice their lives to us and help in wrapping for freezing or drying.

And i am emotionally attached to my chickens. I thank them every time they give eggs and provide  a wonderful and loving home for them. But i would have to live a more challenging food necessary life than now before i could them. And i know that day might still necessarily come.

My ancestors and my parents and grandparents would be proud of my family. But no, it is not easy at all. Besides being very, very hard work it is often emotional.   You truly have to see yourself as part of nature and just a part of all there is--as one in nature-- and connected to the food chain and the gifts of the great mother earth and her many species of children to consciously and with gratitude and even reverence eat other beings.

Humans may see theirselves as royalty (to make this thread under this heading of  Prince Charles and William at all!) but truly we are not.

Our governance is a man made construct based on our own views of power over others. It can and often is destroyed in the wild where without our manmade tools of power, control, destruction from knives to guns to bombs while in the wild we are simply part of the natural and ever changing hierarchy.

And right now,  at this point in time microscopic particles are taking humanity down in great numbers. Succession to the throne has begun.

@sistermoon

Hi all. Trying to understand the future of climate change brought me here about a year ago, and I've been following along ever since. I am awed by the perceptiveness of the intuitives on this site and grateful for being able to read your insights.

My psychic abilities tend to come and go, as hunches, feelings, images.

Over the past couple of days I've seen an image of a candle: there is a long white taper and the flame is going out, with a thin spire of smoke rising up from it. This feels to me like the end of the age we've been living in.

I did a simple reading with the Rider Waite deck today, asking how things will occur around the Coronavirus in the US over the next two weeks. The results:

Two of Wands: The stop-start of the federal government. Dithering too long about taking clear action. Things staying in theory rather than being implemented.

Six of Pentacles: The distribution of much-needed financial support to people who have been laid off and to small businesses that are struggling.

The Tower: I hope this does not have to do with our healthcare infrastructure. It feels more like the collapse of structures that are selfish and do not contribute to the common good.

Wishing everyone good health.

My family has always been poor, and I don't remember it, but my sister said they only had meat once a month. I do remember brains and eggs though.  I wouldn't eat them. You could tell because the eggs turned green. My brother told about eating a plate of brains and eggs, and saying how good they were until they told him what he just ate, and wanted to throw up.

@sistermoon, I love your readings. Your 10 of Wands for Mar 26 appeals to me as symbolic of the tremendous burden and stress of our situation--illness, confinement, isolation, and quarantine; and the 7 of wands being our valiant healthcare workers and even our quarantined selves, defending us all from disease.

@elaineg, when I was a kid my father ate brains and eggs and blood pudding.  We grew up in an ethnic (primarily Polish/German) neighborhood in Baltimore, and all of the small markets had it.  He also loved fried Spam (as did I at one time).   My mom served liver & onions at least once a month.  I could only eat liver if it was covered in gravy.  It all gives me the willies now!
