Exactly @laura-f !

Hence my beloved attached graphic in my post. Examine its message in all ways and feel tge energies moving and grounding -especially the planted firmly in the ground feet where the "dirty" energy cycles in spirals into and rooting in the earth. ?

@ultima

I just know to listen instead of ignore no matter how crazy some things may seem.

That small still voice of spirit is a most powerful thing!

woke up one morning and instantly said to my self "beware trains", and a little late I was offered a job at a place that worked with trains. I turned the job down but I curious about what is known about this type of experience.

I started using the free app Insight Timer for meditating about 9 months ago. It was suggested by Jeanne and it really has been helpful. There is a teacher named Trevor Lewis on there who specifically has a few short meditations for empaths. There is one called the Light Projector Exercise for Empaths that is about 5 minutes long and gives a simple way to ground yourself and keep energy flowing. I found it to be short and clear. I have been practicing using his technique before going into crowds or any time that I felt like I was taking on stuff from others. It might be useful for someone on here. We all just need to find out what works for us.

If you connect in any way, please send strongest and best energies of positivity out into my universe tomorrow through me as the surrogate name and mention.

Blessings and love to all of you as well as your respect for my need for privacy in all ways.

Just a like on this and the sending of love  is enough for me to know that you're with me ?

@laura-f, thank you for the clear and concise description of your grounding technique.  You described it beautifully, and I really connected with it.  And you can do it anywhere!

But its the challenges on the journey that hone and prepare us!

@michele-b-here-in-the-forum ... that is so true!    Sometimes I think "next time around I'm going to choose an easy life -- I want to relax!"  Then I realize how ridiculous that is and I laugh at myself.

I did resonate with the Microscopic Orbit article and the graphic!  The article helps to explains why, after I've had certain body work, a few hours later I've sometimes felt energetically worse in the head -- plus racing thoughts, palpitations, insomnia, dizziness, sometimes even panic attacks.  When that occurs, it feels like the connection down the vagus nerve is broken, and zero connection with the root chakra.  It takes a good day or two to normalize.  Fortunately my PTs are very skilled with energy work so they always end with grounding techniques, either through the feet or base of my spine.  When they work on me, those negative reactions never happen.  Cranialsacral therapy, acupuncture and lymphatic drainage also works well for me.

The graphic is really interesting -- the spiral at the bottom of the feet makes me think of a copper spiral and crystal waveform generator that I once purchased from an intuitive healer and artist.  He saw the vision in a dream, and created it to amplify thought and intention.  The copper spiral really reminds me of that spiral in your graphic.  At the time, I had no idea why I was drawn to it.   If I can get my camera to work, I’ll send a picture.

Michele, BTW -- melatonin also makes me crazy.  And I am very sensitive to a lot of medications.  Had lots of arguments with doctors over the years that it's not "all in my head."  I'm probably on a physicians' list somewhere as a non-compliant patient.  ?

Well, deetoo,

Of course it's in your head (mind) body and spirit. ?
Someday we'll all be on the same page.
No talking even necesaary, just HSP--Higher Sense Perception.
And non complience is a sign of the times. We're part of the secret resistance in all ways ?

...I’ve finally embraced my beautiful weirdness.  Now my response to the uninvited criticism that I am “just too sensitive”, is sometimes “I guess you’re not sensitive enough.” ? ...

I believe that part of my life-long exhaustion came from trying to “fit in,” rather than honoring those parts of myself that some people, and this country in general, do not understand and value.  ...

I do feel better in my skin now ...I recognize that we as light workers are needed now, more than ever.  And the wonderful part is, as each of us comes forward to honor that part, we see that there are a lot more of us that we could have imagined!  It’s time for us to spread our wings and shine.

Gems from Deetoo that I could not have said better.

from Vestralux in "Situation evolving ..." thread:

But I say this next thing with love—and because I need to remind myself of it a LOT lately: We're probably not doing ourselves any favors by assuming everything that doesn't jive is a Russian conspiracy.

@vestralux, This isn’t specific to Gabbard, but I can relate to what you are saying.  In my situation, I can feel confident with my gut feelings about something or someone, and then draw conclusions from those feelings, based on what I've heard or read.  But even though my gut may be accurate -- e.g. there's something about that person I don't like/trust -- the evidence I've found to support that conclusion may not always be.

More importantly, when I intuit, I sometimes have to be really careful with my emotional state.  That's especially true now, when we have so much at stake in this country.  When my emotions are running high, it's probably better if I don't do any intuitive reading.  Mindfulness meditation can really help, but sometimes I still struggle.  That's why it's probably better for me right now if I only trust those impressions I get while I am totally relaxed and/or busy doing other things.

I could use some help.  I know that many of you have more experience with this than I do.  How do you deal with personal biases and emotions when you're reading a person or situation?

I'm so glad you shared this here! I'm forever thinking about how to refine and clarify this tendency. Bias isn't a bug; it's a feature—a largely useful one, at least from an evolutionary perspective. For the vast majority of our roughly 5 to 7 million year history on planet earth, there was no other way. We had to rely on bias and assumptions and gossip (and intuition) to survive. It's only really been since the 18th century that we've had something else to guide us—namely, a belief in the merit of scientific evidence (though only in dramatically limited ways from the start).

As psychics and sensitives, I think bias and prior emotional inclination affects all of us, to one degree or another. Think of all the excellent psychics who predicted that Hillary would win in 2016. And she did win! The popular vote, anyway. But most of us (and pretty much all of the news media and academia) suffered from a tremendous blindspot. Not to mention what Masha Gessen called an American "failure of imagination." We intuited something that was partially true and accepted it at face value. Maybe because it felt good—and because the alternative was unimaginable.

I recently made a prediction about the two Canadian teens who were being tracked by police for multiple murders. Maybe I wasn't confident enough about it, because I just saved it in the Notes section on my phone. Turns out, I got it wrong. I predicted that one would take his own life and the other would be captured. When I had the vision, I was sure that I could see this young man being taken into custody the way it would occur. So, when their bodies were found and it was determined that they'd both had taken their lives, I sat for a while and tried to process why I'd seen what I had. I later realized that my vision looked identical to a photo I'd seen at some point. In that image, one of the teens was walking out of a store. All I can determine is that I'd filed that image away in my mind, and later somehow turned it into a vision of an arrest.

I notice that when everyone I know starts leaning in a similar direction, I feel more confident sharing my visions only if they line up. It's harder for me to speak up when they don't. Several forms of meditation have been transformative for me, but the most basic thing I can do is try and stay mindful and compassionate toward my own ego. This allows me to better notice when I'm clinging to something and why, and also to let that thing go with love.

Psychics aren't omniscient (what would even be the point?). Even the best among us get things wrong. It's healthy for us to question ourselves about why and to explore potential biases that may have played a factor, but also for us to give ourselves a lot of kindness and credit and care.

Thank you @VestraLux.  This is so timely for me.  Ive been looking at predictions that I had gotten wrong and wondering if those were the result of bias or wishful thinking on my part.  For example, in February, I dreamed about Mueller and saw him sitting in a chair and falling over sideways.  I remember seeing him grab his arm before falling over.  I interpreted that as interference in his investigation and even thought Barr had blocked him.  However, when Barr testified in front of Congress, he said no one had stopped his investigation.  Because Jeanne had a disturbing dream about Mueller about the same time that I did, I saw that as confirmation of interference.   However, looking back, I remember that after Mueller appeared before Congress, Joe Scarborough mentioned that he had been told that Mueller had health issues that limited his schedule and hours in the office.  Now I wonder if that’s what our dreams were really about.

On a side note, I also wonder if we are being guided in this community.  I wonder if we are receiving guidance from higher powers.  What do you think?

@bluebelle

First, I absolutely KNOW this community is receiving higher guidance, as well as protection, where and when it's needed and welcome. That doesn't mean this space is always impervious, as I sense Jeanne could attest. I think it means that, despite repeated attempts by lower energies to lurk or interfere, the high vibratory light of this community will always restabilize the field (and the tech!), the same way sunlight can be relied upon to clear out vampires. ?

Second, I don't think the dreams you and Jeanne had were incorrect. In fact, I think they were incredibly prescient. One of the reasons for my ~8-month absence (besides workload, which has been enormous) was a growing feeling of despair. And I didn't want that feeling to leak into my posts and inadvertently impact anyone here. To turn our country back from the brink of darkness and begin true healing, we need optimism and hope in a tangible, quantum way.

My fear started growing over those months because each time I attempted to focus on Mueller, I had the overwhelming sense that he was being interfered with at the level of his nervous system, including his physical, bodily structure. I could never get a clear image of who or what was attacking him, but the closest thing I can think of to describe it is from that 1980's movie Predator. The antagonist was nearly impossible to fight because it could make itself invisible; you only knew it was there because of certain effects it had on the environment (a little like dark matter, I suppose).

I'm absolutely certain that Mueller was subject to an ongoing campaign of remote influence. This next part I'm less certain of, but I sensed that some genetic vulnerability he may have had was being exploited (I have no idea how this could be done, or whether it's even possible). I realize this sounds exactly like the type of conspiracy thinking for which I was only just advocating temperance. While I'm personally positive that what my guides were showing me was real, there are a couple of other things I feel compelled to state.

1. I'm certain that no one else should accept what I'm sharing here unless they've also meditated on it carefully, and it feels clearly true to them. In fact, because it's a fairly dark way of seeing things, accepting it outright might generate undue fear, and thus danger.

2. I'm also certain that, in all those months that Mueller was facing the darkest battle of his life, he had greater light and support around him than anything else. We saw the impact of that protection on his testimony in the afternoon; he became much more cogent and clear, and even seemed to show less pain in his face.

I personally think Barr did block and prematurely end Mueller's investigation. But because Mueller's psychology is utterly and absolutely about reverence for rank and rules and procedure, he was never going to openly or directly defy Barr anymore than he did in his letter, which is to say, not at all. But I feel this as certainly as I feel myself typing this post: Mueller's work was perhaps the most noble and necessary thing any American has done for the preservation of democracy since the Cold War or longer, and I'm convinced his work will be recognized that way in the historical reading. Which means, of course, that democracy and the true Spirit of America will have won. ❤️

So, wow, that's interesting and definitely confirming about interference and physical issues.  Even after I watched Mueller testify that his investigation had not been stopped, I had a hard time accepting that at face value.  Certainly, the Justice Department's own rule about not indicting a sitting president left Mueller few options.  My read on Mueller has always been that he is the essence of the honorable man.  We as a nation may have preferred a testimony in front of congress that brought a smoking gun type revelation with lots of drama and incontrovertible evidence of conspiracy and treason.  Maybe as a culture in the time of reality TV, social media, and the 24 hour news cycle, we are conditioned for high drama.   I still believe Mueller's testimony, as low key and just-the-facts delivery as it was, may have been that turning point we've all been waiting for.

I sense a change in thinking is already underway.  Like my dream about standing in the wave shallows and trying to determine exact moment of the tide's shift, I think we are seeing the early evidence of the turning tide.  Amash isn't the only Republican turning against the president.  Joe Walsh, conservative radio host and former US  Tea Party congressman, wrote an op ed apology in the NYT for supporting Trump during the 2016 campaign, for helping to put a con man in the White House.   Walsh called for a Republican to run against Trump in the primary next year.  Of course, the Mooch chimed in too, calling for the president to be primaries, but anyone with critical thinking skills can smell his opportunism a mile away.

We all experience moments of rage and despair.  How can we not when we see white nationalists take the stage, children torn from their parents, mass shootings based on race and bigotry?  We are in deep trouble as a country.  Even if the cult followers of the president don't have the critical thinking skills to see his duplicity, progressive dementia and erratic behavior, there are Republicans out there who are as appalled like we are.  I have even had family members who voted for him in 2016 come and tell me recently that they will never vote for him again, that he is a terrible man.  How bout them apples?  Even as a seer, I didn't see that coming!

You said, "I still believe Mueller's testimony, as low key and just-the-facts delivery as it was, may have been that turning point we've all been waiting for."

I am certain—down deep in my bones—that it was. And I love this image from your dream about the tides changing. Indeed they are.

You're right, Mueller is the essence of the honorable man. To me, he's the archetype of the dutiful knight whose integrity shines so brightly that he outshone his new king. Despite his skill and honor, this made him an enemy. Powerful lords couldn't manipulate or corrupt him. So, he set out on his own, and against all odds, accomplished something profound. Kingdom-altering.

Yet, despite his success, he was forced into exile. And the merits of his final deeds were honored by virtually no one at court, not in his lifetime, anyway. It isn't until much later that he rises up as a sainted figure. I think it will go that way with him.

Someone like Mueller also represents the honor of a bygone generation. The thinking he represents is passing away, and while that's painful, it's also as it should be. Mueller has been a by-the-books conservative all his life, so he'd be unable to recognize the kind of honor a figure like Chelsea Manning represents. She's a new kind of knight—one who knows that corrosive aspects of the system itself represent the greater evil, and that the right to dissent is sometimes more vital to the health of democracy (and arguably more American) than the duty to obey. On the surface, she's a more flawed character. But then, so is every single one of us. So, maybe that's exactly what we need in an era of change, one that asks for greater empathy and deeper humanity from all of us.

P.S.

If my mother is coming around on the subjects of Donald Trump and white supremacy, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. So, I have a lot of hope.

What an informative thread!  @bluebelle and @vestralux, you’ve shared some wonderful insights in addressing my initial question about bias/emotional influence.  Vestralux, I really love your reminder to "try and stay mindful and compassionate toward my own ego."

Posted by Vestralux:

[E]ach time I attempted to focus on Mueller, I had the overwhelming sense that he was being interfered with at the level of his nervous system, including his physical, bodily structure.

Mueller's metamorphosis during the second half of his testimony was remarkable to me.  I'm convinced that something spiritual occurred.  Bluebelle, I agree that Mueller's testimony "may have been that turning point we've all been waiting for,"  even though at this moment, it may not feel or look like it.  I also agree that Barr prematurely stopped the investigation, but ultimately that doesn't matter.  That good, fearless, transformational energy has been planted by Mueller, just waiting for that seed to be nurtured and grow.

As I thought about Mueller, I began thinking about the states of our own physical and emotional health, which for many of us has taken a beating the past 2-1/2+ years.  Not so much a dedicated, targeted interference, which I agree may have occurred with Mueller.  But regarding any increased physical and/or emotional disturbances we are individually experiencing, do you believe those are caused by, to quote Vestralux, “repeated attempts by lower energies to lurk or interfere?”  In other words, do you believe that as we work towards shining light on the darkness around us, there are outside interferences that are causing our individual increased exhaustion, health concerns, and the like?  Or is it actually the darkness within each of us that we are struggling with and attempting to heal?   Or perhaps it’s a combination of the two?   Simply put, I feel like a truck has run over me -- but  maybe it's me who is driving the truck.

To the extent that my ego prefers to look outside of myself -- thinking that I am this noble warrior, good against evil, etc. -- I am living in a fantasy.  I’m not separate from anyone or anything.   If our world is in a mess, then I am part of that mess.  (A concrete example is my junk room at home, which I’ve intended to clean out for the past 10 years.  The mess in that room represents the mess in my psyche.)

What’s that saying, “Physician, heal thyself?”  I understand that proverb has a couple of interpretations, but for me personally, it means that I need to clean up my own mess first.  It’s not that I demand perfection of myself – it’s just that I am struggling with what contribution I am making.

Amen to that! ?

I've been struggling for some time with autoimmune complications, which is just unfancy short-hand for annoying flares of inflammation, pain, and less-than-zero energy. Whenever anything this complex occurs in the body, it's rare that there would be only one source or cause; in my case, there were multiple and systemic factors involved. Some of these were material agents—external to my system—which "attacked," causing my body to start attacking itself (e.g., unresolved trauma, infectious agents, toxins, and even some psychic attack).

But we live in a holographic universe, and like you've said so well, we are not separate. We're inextricably bound to everyone and everything else. Whatever is going down in the collective expresses itself in the individual, and vice versa. I think those of us who are particularly sensitive are mirroring the current disequilibrium (in nature and culture) in our bodies. And I think this serves an evolutionary function: By literally taking it on, we become intimate with it, which makes us more equipped to help heal it. This is something energy healers have done for millennia.

And yeah, I think we approach large-scale healing by first healing ourselves. Gotta put your own oxygen mask on first, right?

Thank you @deetoo and @VestraLux. You both present some questions that have flitted across my mind as well.  In the past 14 months, I've lost my mother, dealt with difficult personal issues, had surgery for one health issue, gone through physical therapy for another chronic issue and throughout it all, have had the energy of say, a zucchini.  Losing my mother and navigating difficult personal issues were all things I knew would have to be experienced, but at the same time, there were other issues that hit me hard, things I would never have anticipated.  So there's that.  In looking at these things from a new perspective, I see that these are issues that are part of my life's journey, things I needed to deal with so I could move forward.  In order for our country to heal, we too need to look at the underlying issues that we as a country have assiduously avoided:  systemic racism, genocide of indigenous peoples, systemic corruption in government, etc.  We can't go forward as a country until we face the truth about our past and ourselves.

For myself, I feel loved and protected in spite of every loss and every struggle.  I'm looking forward to a time of energy renewal and healing.  Aren't we all feeling that way after living through two and a half years of this orange dystopian hellscape?
