Beast, I am so very sorry I hurt you because of my lack of understanding.  Please accept love and healing light from my heart chakra to yours.  Michelle, I have read and felt about Chi Gong for a long time and have always placed it on my lifetime to-do list.  I think it is something I should actively seek to engage in.  I had a friend a long time ago who was a Sufi dancer and used to enjoy dancing by myself with my energy.  I am feeling drawn to do that again, too.  Your explanation fits.

What is so interesting about seeking for images when I awake and rest is that there are so many to be seen lurking just underneath consciousness.  Over the last two days: a person with short brown hair holding a globe with sparkling light, hands presenting a many layered cake and then a deep magenta sunset of light, a smiling woman with long, thick honey hair wearing sun glasses and then lilac light, a beautiful model with her hair pulled back in a ponytail with blue eyes and then a pair of wooden glasses with doodads hanging off them backwards hanging in the air, and the earth from space with tons of light pouring onto it.   Thank you all for the delight of sharing them with me.  They make me so aware of the power of images and the psyche to project and receive them.  They confirm my understanding of the collective unconscious/consciousness.  To keep this under the random question category, I wonder if it would be possible for us to create a healing candle; an image set in ethers that we can send light to?  I've been thinking about how to do this for a long time.  Beast, I'm going to try to send you a lit sage tea candle.  If you receive it, would you send it back and then back and forth we could put more and more light energy in it and at some point share it with the community here?

So, the sage tealight ended up above ratbum.  I also worked really hard on sending the light from another one your way, Beast.

Some of you have mentioned seeing geometric images and hieroglyphs.  I've been seeing these, too.  They are very complex formations of geometric figures, but I can not make them out in detail. The same with the hieroglyphs.  I've puzzled over them and wondered what would prompt me to see this images.  As an artist, I'm very interested in symbolic images, yet these seem so very foreign to me.  As far as clouds and colors go, I've seen a range of colors during meditation, but the color that resonates is a soft, soft, floating lavender.  When I see that, I completely relax.  It's more of a comfort than the geometric and hieroglyphs, which just feel mysterious.

Gracesinger, at first I wasn´t receiving anything . So I googled "lit sage tea candle" and grabbed an image and sent it . I got this image back two times . Yet I still believe I am poor as a receiver, and I am grateful for that because I like the silence in my mind . I thank you for the love and healing light . I do cherish them .

I once wrote poetry in words . But  as I moved away from Europe, heartbreak, dysthymia and academic thinking,  into the brazilian jungle, I entangled it to science, and started to express love through invention . And here I am .

The truth is I believe we live a fairytale . No matter how beaten up we are . No matter how much poison we drink . Or dark, witchy, kidnapping in-laws we face. We always get to rise, grow and forever happy be (at least until the next Big Crunch) .

Bluebelle, what was the background on which the symbols and images were presented?  Mine seemed to appear on fluorescent, colored sheets and then in streams going left to right.  Sometimes they seem to be in still frames.  They appear to me over a succession of nights and then disappear for quite a while.  I remember one of the symbols seemed kind of like a fat crescent moon.  The last pattern presented in a frame seemed really different than before.  It was like a bunch of hyphenated spirals going in different directions but they were presented close together.

Oh well, Beast.  I played with a sandlewood candle and ended up doing a major smudge while I was at it.   I'm confident that Ratbum's spirit familiars are happy campers.  It's lovely when you get opportunities to express your art and love through your work.  I do think the world is a delight when I view it as a fairyland; it's much easier to do when it's warm and everything's green and growing!  I'll see if I pick up anything in the morning.

I get the most intricate phospene patterns/images right after waking up from a dream--it happens when I shut my eyes to try and go back to sleep.  Sometimes my eyes are open and a small cloud of color will start to form which I can faintly see, so I close my eyes and it is easier to see.  Then the clouds of color often move around and change and get more intense.  They form patterns and images and even words that may look like neon signs.

I purchased a silver ring recently with a type of jasper stone set in it.  The person who made it is a psychic man who has the gift of psychometry as well as clairaudience.  He chooses the stones with psychometry and can tell which have some special energy.  I wore the ring to bed a couple of days ago hoping it would help my dreams and I was buzzing with energy and could not sleep.  I saw the phosphene clouds most of the night.  I finally took the ring off and fell asleep.  I also noticed the ring gave me a lot of extra energy during the day.  It feels like energy coming in through the crown chakra, perhaps.  I don't know what this means.  Does anyone have an idea?  I gave up caffienated beverages a few years ago and this gentle energy gave me a much better feeling of being alert and awake than anything I've ever experienced before.  It makes me wonder.  It makes me excited and feel like the mysteries of spiritual energy are more fascinating than I could ever imagine.

Gracesinger, the background is always clear, as if the geometric and hieroglyphs are on clear floating panels.   The geometric images are always separate from the hieroglyphs.   Odd.  I do not see them at the same time.  And the panels float,  some moving left to right.  Some are stationary.

I feel that the far right wave is waning. However, it will get darker before disappearing completely. Do anyone here know what will happen after the coming 2020 elections? Will the far right revolt?

Starpath, I just reread this missive stream and looked up phosphene on Wikipedia.  I disagree with assumption the article makes begins in the first line: "seeing light without light actually entering the eye."  What you are describing using the word, "phosphene," I have been "seeing" in a similar way for decades.  I've had my eyes and body thoroughly checked within the last year and don't have any of the diseases suggested or problems with my optic nerve.  To me, the cloudlike light you are describing does seem spiritual in nature and is often confirmed by the feelings of love, contentment, and connection I and others feel when in the presence of it.  Also, like now, energy moves up my spine and into my back when "being" with it.  Imposing the word "phosphene" on top of being in the presence of a light that seems to be seen by a spiritual "eye" rather than the two seeing eyes seems like trying to impose a medical or scientific model on top of a spiritual phenomena.   The light I "see" seems like an actual light that is present to my being with a different kind of sight.

Dear Bluebelle, yes, that's how I am experiencing the images, too.  Also, it has felt as if I am rapidly scanning the images as they are rapidly occurring and some other kind of knowing I can't make sense of in this body and with this mind is reading them.  God knows what that means.  I don't feel possessed, just as though there's some other dimension of self with which I am not consciously acquainted with this mind in this body.  Don't know if that makes sense.

For understanding phosohene imagery especially in visioning, you have to search beneath, above, and beyond to what is known as entopic imagery.

Heres a link that explains in both anthropologically as well as in the visioning terms and symbology that most of us see and feel in our gut instincts or in our higher spiritual understandings combined.

Keep in mind that ancient man saw and drew and described what was seen based on their personal mythologies just as we do in all of ours now.

Then using terms that resonate with each of you individually keep looking, dreaming and seeing beneath,  above, and beyond even more.

Remote viewing at its deepest, highest, purest ?

Sylvia Brown I tried to read her book on contacting your spirit guide and I have so many questions. I must say reading her book makes me a skeptic which I am not. Any one ever read her books? The stuff she says about the other realm and what she says about her spirit guides.

Jessi1978,

Way back when, I saw her on tv shows or being interviewed and watched as she used her skills to read and connect with audience members.

I liked her readings as they most often seemed to hit and actually read people's stories, the passed on loved ones she "saw" around them and how much it meant to those she connected with.

When I read the book i had, I couldn't relate to her own personal mythology of worlds  angels  etc. It was a different--kind of "too far out there" than my own "far out there".

We all use different frames of experiences and use diffetent ways to create and to explain our understandings.

I try to see it as we all might believe, for example, in one basic principal of a universal deity or God but practice within one certain form of reljgjon or belief system. But others might believe in other,  or even totally different belief systems within the same overall category...different kinds of Christians or forms of Hinduism or Buddhism or forms of Judaism etc.etc.

I see Sylvia Brown or other psychics that seem out there to me as not necessarily being off the mark in my view, but just seeing the marks differently then I do.

They simply have created different frames of reference, understandings or abilities to explain or share them.

But yes, i know what you mean about her books.

Jessi, What does Sylvia Brown say about spirit guides that makes you skeptical?  :-)

Hi,

Just a question for those who have taken part in doing the read the future evening or something similar: Do you clearly remember all of the predictions that you made or does it all seem familiar but a little fuzzy?

I participated for the first time in January and my experience is that I kind of vaguely remember and recognize the predictions that I made, but it is all a little fuzzy. The only thing in my experience that I can compare it to is simultaneous interpreting - hearing words and letting them pass through you and come out in another language but not internalizing them. I wondered if it was because it was the middle of the night in my time zone when we did the exercise or if that is how other experience it too. I’m just curious about the process.

Hi Baba,

That is my experience, too.  I just write into the chat whatever comes to mind during the meditative read the future exercise.  Then when the compiled predictions are posted, I am surprised by what I wrote. Probably, 80-90% of my predictions I don’t remember.  The same for channeling... it’s a mystery.  So, I’m as amazed as anybody when a prediction comes true and don’t really feel I should take credit for it.  I’m just the channel.

What really amazes me when I read the compiled list are the identical or similar predictions made by multiple participants for the same projected time period.

All of these posts are provocative: so very much to think about … and I had already been thinking a lot about the images others have shared with me (most recently, a single rose, and the night before a beautiful design of swirls) and the experience of random scanning of a symbolic language with which I am unfamiliar as I slept.  Reading through the material about entopic imagery on the link Michelle provided and Jessi, Baba, and Bluebelle’s posts helped me sort through what I “see” in different categories, each with their own questions.

I can accept that the frame of swirls I “saw” is a “form constant,” as Horowitz describes it.

I can also accept Horowitz’s idea in so far as that the images I have experienced are caused by “electrical stimulus on the retinal neural networks” and interpreted through the “lens” of meaning created by pre-existing neural frameworks, which Michelle suggests are frames of reference and belief systems we all have created since at least we were in our mother’s wombs.  Neural imaging confirms these are all unique to each individual.  That there are universal understandings common to humans across millennia also seems to be confirmed by anthropologists, mythologists, and the like.  To me this all makes perfect sense.

From this point on, however, I have a gazillion questions, most of which have led me to contemplate the possibilities of past lives, presence of past memories as transferred from one generation to the next through our genes, guides or angels or spirit beings, collective conscience, a telepathic way of connecting with others, and alien contact.  The reason I contemplate all of these possibilities is because I do not have a neural framework to make sense of the full range of images, visions, dreams, and experiences I have had across my life, and I can only speculate in this mind and body that the answers lie in all of them.

All of this contemplation or these attempts to make meaningful or sense of what I “see” and “feel” leads me back to questioning what it is that causes the “electrical stimulus on the retinal neural networks” in the first place.  That, in turn, leads me to contemplate lightwork or energy work and what it is we are as spiritual, healing, growing, seeing, believing, and loving beings.  What does it mean to be the “channel” to which Bluebelle refers?  Are we sometimes used as tuning forks or receptors for aliens or spiritual beings or the collective conscience?  This gets to Baba’s question.

I didn’t clearly remember or always have images come for each month or year and lost a lot of them.  Two images that stick with me from two of the sessions I participated in is that before last spring I saw several crosses in the spring of 2018 … I think it was for April.   As I lived through that month, I think they represented mass shootings across the country.  And, then, in a similar way I saw the number four in all kinds of different fonts and formats leaping up for this coming spring.  It will be interesting to me to see what these mean when we get there.  What Bluebelle said makes sense to me; that we are all somehow tuning into something as channels.  What that something is … is a matter for contemplation.

Funny … I can't edit the change in fonts here.

I wasn’t sure where to post this, and a section on random questions seems as good as any. As I was about to go to sleep last night, the song, “Heading For a Fall” popped into my head and would not go away. I had just been watching the coverage on Roger Stone being hauled back into court right before that but when I then tried to concentrate on who the song was talking about, I got more the feeling that it is a group of people surrounding Trump. Anybody else have any ideas?

Baba,

I am not sure. But it could be the fall of the federal government. The fall of America as a country. Hopefully, Czechoslovakia or Soviet Union style, not Yugoslavia .

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst .

Last night (likely darn close to when you, Baba, were falling asleep to "Heading for a Fall"!), I dreamt I was biking (on a long route, to and from somewhere) and came upon a massive re-construction site bustling with the activity of heavy machinery, foremen/women directing action, and crews of workers.  I got off my bike, and as I navigated around freshly turned hill-sized mounds of dirt,  steep descents where new foundations were going to be sunk, huge slabs of broken concrete, etc., I'm pretty sure I only had two thoughts: to be mindful of the path I was creating, and that making my way through the area was a bit of an adventure.  I also remember thinking that part of the re-construction was addressing a large vacuum of space where whatever had stood there before had been completely eradicated.  I definitely didn't have the sense of overwhelming emotional devastation that I've had when pre-experiencing such cataclysmic disasters as tsunamis, battlefields, and terrorist attacks.  So perhaps the re-construction site I saw was representative of the re-designing/re-structuring of fundamental aspects of our government that will eventually take place as a result of the gross destruction wreaked/inflicted by the current administration?  I'm not entirely sure, and for now will just hold the dream lightly.  I do know that while I understood the re-construction was a huge and major undertaking, there was an element of adventure, even focused excitement for the expertise with which the new complex of_________ was being built.

I’ve been dealing with some personal issues in balancing karma regarding an abusive ex and my children. I’ve been experimenting with manifesting positive outcomes through visualization and I’ve read Dr Joseph murphy and Abraham hicks but I’m wondering whether this community has any advice or experience using these techniques to manifest anything. It has helped come into a more positive outlook but I’m wondering whether it’s better to visualize actual conversations or sort of generalized statements like ‘the universe is balancing this karma and we will soon be free, safe and happy.’
