I'm curious as well, as I've read through the whole list a few months ago, that I'm getting the sense we're losing somethings, as well gaining at the same time. Like find a new source of energy that is more eco friendly, future occupations will be focusing on the arts and anything that requires human sensitbilities due to a good chunk of the others will be automated, etc.
There are some things we're losing too, I've saw a prediction on that list by someone that Facebook, Instagram and social media in general would be on a decline, if not gone.
I'm still trying to recover at the moment, so I can't look into things just yet. I hope someone will show us some light into these things.
Wow - interesting:
I just woke up from a dream. I had gone to a restaurant, by myself. (Rare because I rarely leave the house, even before Covid, and can't remember the last time I've gone to a restaurant by myself.)
Ordered a drink and went to take out my phone, only to discover I hadn't brought it! I was amazed -- when was the last time I left the house without my phone??? In fact, that was the hallmark of the dream: that I had gone somewhere and had forgotten to bring it.
I felt almost panicked: what if I had gotten into an accident? But then I remembered that the majority of my life was cell-less, and I had done just fine. Then the dream shifted into other things -- I went to the bathroom, where the sink began to flood with napkins (not sure what THAT was all about).
Eventually I woke up, having forgotten all about the dream. I got some coffee and popped on the forum -- where I found THIS thread waiting for me. Synchronicity!
@goldstone It's gonna be very interesting to see how technology evolves. I saw a few predictions about it helping the environment and us having different ways to communicate. It'll be amazing to watch everything play out in the world.
