@mas1581 i keep feeling like there is going to be some kind of violent temper-tantrum in the White House that changes everything.
@mas1581 I still feel there is a serious life event (feels health related) coming up for Trump and it feels like it is before the election, but I can't say for sure.

@unk-p. I had promised images on the 5s and 0s but I haven’t delivered since 75. Back to school arrived and while I’m alone in an office and safely protected, I’ve had my evenings filled when my wife returns (She’s K-6 Special Education) in tears. Neither of us is taking back to school well — to say nothing of our 9 year old daughters who are both excited to return to school and terrified. I haven’t been in a creation mood.
But I’m getting back at it to prepare something truly special for day 50, and at that point I’ll be two weeks in and have a better handle on what I think is going to happen with schools.
For now, lets all PRETEND I had awesome images for day 70, and that I’ll have an awesome image tomorrow (even though I won’t). This was supposed to be my “keep up the hope!” Project and the impossibility of schools trying to go back to the way things were pre-pandemic has kept that from occurring.
I could not continue on after reading your post without letting you know how sorry I am that your girls are going though this difficult time. Difficult does begin to cover the challenges, fears and worry I am sure they are trying to understand and process at their ages. I feel for your wife too as she tries to take care of our most vulnerable student population and help them build back up all that 2020 has torn away. She has an impossible job to do under unimagionable conditions. We are asking our educators to be super human. Actually let me modify that. We often ask them to be super human, this year we are demanding it. As for you, dad and husband, how difficult it must be to observe the ones you love deal with all the challenges 2020 has brought forth. I am sure you are under great stress. May this new school year bring forth much more light than you would ever expect for you and your family. May you all be blessed while you travel this journey together.
@dannyboy hey there! Sorry to hear you are having so much stress in your life. Don't let doing the countdown add more stress- if it is fun, and you have the time, then great! If not, no worries. As you can see, some days i am more inspired than others as i mark the days. But it's all good, and i am glad that you are back.
@mas1581 I remembered seeing violence after the election results, while people are cheering and celebrating in Times Square.
The New York Times listed the prominent Republicans who have broken ranks with Donald Trump and said they will not vote for him. The list contains
(1) Republicans who won't be voting for Trump but didn't say who they'd vote for. It omitted Charlie Baker (R) of Massachusetts who said the same thing he said in 2016, that he would not vote at all in the presidential election.
(2) Republicans who won't be voting for Trump and will be voting for Joe Biden.
(3) Then there are the usual undecideds, who like to play it both ways to maximize their popularity, such as Lisa Murkowski of Alaska.
