Not sure what will come after this...
Last month, I'd seen that Mitch McConnell would be sad and disappointed during the first few weeks of July. Â But he was smiling at the end of the summer. Not sure why.Â
Ugh, let's hope they let this deformed crap die and move onto something else. I really hope they don't pass anything regarding health care at all.
I feel strongly that we're in trouble. Now that the replacement bill has died in the Senate, more than defeat, the sense I get from the players involved is that they feel bitter, frustrated, and embarrassed. That said, Trump has put pressure on Congress to "repeal now, replace later," and I think that's precisely what they will do. With tax cuts in place, there will be insufficient funding to maintain the ACA. With Obamacare lacking the funds to sustain itself, it will die with or without Congress having to do anything. The greed and heartlessness of this Congress and administration are staggering.
Like this, Vida?
Jeanne, my comments are still being held up in moderation, and two people in the comments say they can't post on the forum due to failed reset passwords. (I know you're struggling with the site, just keeping you informed!)
Obamacare repeal lacks votes to pass, because of three female senators:
