Came across this article about a book that's about how climate change and pandemics were at the root of the fall of Rome as much as their political climate. The book author refers to the Visigoths and Huns as "Climate refugees on horseback with weapons" !  Especially interesting because it's being embraced by those in power in South Korea:

Laura, Interesting!  Thanks for sharing. Makes so much sense.  A few years ago, the show Vice pointed out that a major aspect of the violence in Iran and Syria was the extreme drought from climate change.
