These regional state consortiums are beginning developments that we have been predicting: that predictions  the 2020 crash will lead to decentralized U.S. where people will turn away from the Federal Government.

CNN)States on the country's East and West coasts are forming their own regional pacts to work together on how to reopen from the stay-at-home orders each has issued to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/13/politics/states-band-together-reopening-plans/index.html?utm_medium=social&utm_term=link&utm_source=fbCNN&utm_content=2020-04-13T21%3A28%3A04

Predictions:

People will walk away from the Federal Government and focus on State and local Government.  (Jeanne Mayell) Predicted each year from 2014, 15, 16, 17 and ff.

California will become as close to a separate country as possible without seceding. (Jeanne Mayell) Predicted on the Prediction Page  in 2017 for some time during or after 2020.

California is leading the way for the country (Molly)

States start to back away from Congress and run their own shows as their citizens egg them on. (Sydney) Predicted June 6, 2019.

Federalism is dead. (Laura C.) 1 Predicted 1.11.19.

There are more stabilizing government actions taking place, as we transition into a new state.  (Claire). Predicted when?

@jeanne-mayell

I believe you ( or someone else) had some predictions on the Navy hospital ships.  The virus spread has begun on those ships now.

Sheep contentedly grazing in meadows, their bells cling-clanging, are oblivious to the world’s problems. Good to periodically hold this image and feel as untroubled, to feel the inherent goodness of being on Earth. (CDeanne) Predicted 11.11.19

I see more people moving from cities. (Bin)

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/mar/18/thank-you-parisians-dont-bring-the-virus-plea-from-rural-france#maincontent

There's more of that occur around the world, but basically most people are rushing to the countryside to try and ride out the pandemic. As you can see, this action draws a lot of ire, not only with the rural community but also with people who are in the lower end of society who cannot afford to make their primary homes comfortable for the long hual, let alone owning a house outside of the metropolian area.

Speaking of which...

World is moving through a lot of conflicts that had been building for a long time. (Jeanne Mayell) Predicted in July 2017.

While we're not there yet, but you can see the burning resentment from the people who are not wealthy side of society, which quite more paupable than I've expected.

If anyone remembers how the French Revelution came about, it boils down to the issue of the nasty divide of the commoners and nobility and clegery classes that's been simmering to a boiling point. Then the famine appeared, which became catalyst that brought that historical moment into a reality at the time.

The point I'm trying to make is that history is about to repeat itself unfortunately, as I've noticed the same patterns right there...

Lots of Lincoln references (Lovendures predicted 11-19 for 2020)

Today in an opt ed piece in The Washington Post written by George Conway, Reed Galen, Steve Schmidt, John Weaver and Rick Wilson, The Lincoln Project endorsed Biden.  Below is some of the opt ed piece.

When we founded the Lincoln Project, we did so with a clear mission: to defeat President Trump in November. Publicly supporting a Democratic nominee for president is a first for all of us. We are in extraordinary times, and we have chosen to put country over party — and former vice president Joe Biden is the candidate who we believe will do the same.

Biden is now the presumptive Democratic nominee and he has our support. Biden has the experience, the attributes and the character to defeat Trump this fall. Unlike Trump, for whom the presidency is just one more opportunity to perfect his narcissism and self-aggrandizement, Biden sees public service as an opportunity to do right by the American people and a privilege to do so.

Biden understands a tenet of leadership that far too few leaders today grasp: The presidency is a life-and-death business, that the consequences of elections have real-world effects on individual Americans, and that all of this — all of the struggle, toil and work — is not a zero-sum game.

Predicted for March 2020:

  • Michael Cohen is released from prison. He has struck a further deal with SDNY. (Bluebelle) Predicted 10.9.19

The first part of Bluebelle's prediction is a BIG HIT.  News broke today that Michael Cohen is being released early from prison due to the pandemic.

He wasn't scheduled for release until Nov. 2021.

See this article:

https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/16/politics/michael-cohen-to-be-released-prison-coronavirus/index.html

Whether the second part of the prediction comes true remains to be seen.  But the first part is a definite hit.

There is this for the U.S. for August 2020:

Protesters in the streets, lots of them. (Sharon)Predicted June 6, 2019.

Perhaps it's started early?

There was lots of coughing, a dark tornado of smoke and heavy gray smoke everywhere. (Karen)  Predicted 4.6.20 for April.

Karen took the Intuitive Way series and predicted a tornado where she lives on the last class on April 6.  It's her first hit and although we don 't wish tornados on South Carolina or on anyone, it is a remarkable hit because it is so unusual to see one in South Carolina especially in April.

But it wasn't just one tornado. They had 21! And possibly more this weekend.  Usually when we get a prediction of a storm or snow or tornado, it won't be just any storm or any tornado. It will be something unusually, as this certainly was.

This could be a hit in the making:

Remember the vision of Washington DC sometime in the near future, where it appeared that government buildings were fenced off and vacant, and it seemed like the government was not there? Check out this article from Newsweek about the activation of a special military task force that could evacuate the government from Washington DC if the epidemic gets too hot:

https://www.newsweek.com/exclusive-washington-dc-faces-coronavirus-spike-secret-military-task-force-prepares-secure-1498276

Of interest is that the task force and its plans were originally intended to ensure the continuity of constitutional government during disruption of normal civil government, such as if there were a nuclear attack...

Go figure. Love you all.

Hi everyone, hope you're all safe and well. I saw something interesting on Democracy Now this morning. Is there a prediction on this site about drought in the US? I seem to remember reading about it but it might've been a year or so ago. Maybe it's already been discussed and I missed it, but if not here's a link--The headline is

West Coast and Northern Mexico Headed Toward Record-Breaking Mega-Drought

Under "2020 Whole Year" predictions, we have these:

Brown grass, drought. (Michele) Predicted in July 2017.

Fire, fire, a cowboy hat is held over the fire. The West is burning. This means there are prolonged fires and the land is hot and in a permanent state of drought. Also feel this is happening in other parts of the world where there are cowboys. (Jeanne Mayell) Predicted in July 2017.

I believe there is a prediction for May that scientists are drinking something to fight against the virus. Here’s an article the Dutch are doing tests on old oral vaccines to fight COVID-19. I also saw discussion last week of the oral polio vaccine tests on CNN but cannot find an article for it.

@vagabeau. Thank you, that was my vision. It was the strangest thing. In my vision I saw doctors working on Covid patients and then, as if they had pulled a cord to release something,  a liquid poured down from above into their mouths.

I don't know about the rest of California, but here in the San Diego area we've had more than TWICE the normal amount of rain this season so far (more rain coming tomorrow), including one of the wettest Aprils in the last 40 years.

We've had over 20 inches of rain at my house in inland San Diego County so far this rainy season, and we normally consider 9-10 inches a wet year!

And obviously, we're just north of "Northern Mexico."

We probably will have a couple of months from July-October when it gets hot and dry - we always do.  And it's always possible that we could have a few dry years ahead (that is not uncommon in CA). But I'm just not seeing any unusual "mega drought" on the horizon here right now and none of our local forecasters (including our regional NWS office) are predicting that.

The article on Democracy Now didn't have a link to the study they were referencing, so I'm not sure when this "mega drought" is expected, but right now, we're not in a drought.

@rosieheart

This New York Times article discusses and provides a link to the study referenced by Democracy Now. The megadrought has been ongoing across the entire southwestern US since the year 2000. There are local and seasonal variations within the overall trend, which explains the 20 inches of rain you've seen this season. I don't want to be a downer, but extremes of wet weather always seem to be followed by extreme dryness in the US West...

I first had this vision of a mega-drought in the U.S. in 2008.  I posted an article about it on this site in 2010, along with some other visions. https://www.jeannemayell.com/visions-for-2012-and-beyond/

Around mid 2020,  I see a map of the U.S., then a cactus appears in the heartland.   It appears slowly and feels mournful and epic, like the end of an era. (Jeanne Mayell) Posted in 2010.

Before I set up the forum, I posted a series of environmental future visions, including some posts that incorporated climate science.   They are pretty grim, but I expect that these are visions that were given to me as warnings and there is still time to prepare and adjust. The pandemic has already caused a drop in atmospheric carbon.  These articles are here: https://www.jeannemayell.com/category/climate-change-psychic-predictions/

When I reach 2025 in my meditation, I see crowds on hillsides. They are in the southwest, might be a part of Texas or some area that is more conservative politically and culturally.  The people are under stress because there is an image of symbolic fire all around them, and they are listening to a religious leader, a messiah figure.  So this attraction to a messiah is unexpected. (Note to intuition:  pay attention to the visions that are unexpected. They are likely more accurate.)  I also saw horses and other farm animals with dry mouths. It felt like the southwest, especially Texas, because I see cowboy hats and cactus.  (Jeanne Mayell) 2014

At some point, I'd like to convene a group of people to meditate on the long-term. I haven't done that in several years.  So the long-term visions on this site are old (pre-2017) and need to be updated.

NASA has been predicting the southwest heat crisis for some time. You can see it in a 2014 James Cameron ShowTime television series called Years of Living Dangerously. The first episode is posted on Youtube. I had seen this series when I had the second vision.

@jeanne-mayell

I live in the Southeast (Tennessee).  We had a severe drought several years ago.

On my property, we have several underground streams and one aboveground stream that feeds into a big pond.  This is not an unusual feature, as many properties where I live sit on top of a vast underground cave system.  But during the drought, the water in our pond got so low that we actually found the entrance of a small cave where one of the underground streams fed into our pond.  It wasn't very big (while a cat could get around easily, we would have had to crawl on our bellies, and even then only get a few feet.)  But our cats kept going in and out of that cave and bringing out little fish with them.  After the rains returned, the pond rose, and the cave was covered by water again.

Do you expect such a drought to occur in the Southeast anytime soon?  We were lucky, because even though our pond went down several feet, we still had water.  Our neighbors were not as fortunate, so we allowed them to share our water for a few months for their cows until the rain returned.

@allyn My vision was for mid to late 2020.  I posted it as a hit today because of the Democracy Now article that said the southwest is heading towards a thousand year drought.
