In July a canal tunnel collapsed in Nebraska, cutting off 104,000 acres of farmland in Nebraska and Wyoming from irrigation water at the height of summer. From what I can tell, repairs are ongoing.

There will be an economic downturn (recession) beginning in late 2019 and/or early 2020.  It will continue for several years then recovery will happen in mid to late 2020. By the end of the 2020's the Republican Party will be finished and women will be in charge. Today's developments are more serious than earlier market upsets over the past few years because of bond market events that have in the past been closely tied to the onset of recession. There have recently been other ominous market develops pointing to a coming recession, like the long term CD yield rate decline. 

It feels like we are entering the rabbit hole which I'd always felt would come near the end of 2019 and early 2020.  It's when events start accelerating and we are at the end of an era.  We are getting four and five prediction hits a day it seems. I can barely keep up with posting them and I wouldn't be able to keep up at all if it weren't for all of you.

Thank you Lenor for catching my prediction hit that came out of nowhere in January 2018 for August 2019 about Petula Clark of all people!

And what a great linking video. I absolutely loved it. It brought back an era and hit me with so many happy energy memories of the 70s!

Never knew that she sang on the British radio during WWII or was the little darling of the troops, made 5 childhood movies, danced with Fred Astaire in a movie as an adult,  sang with Harry Belafonte and in the emotions of their beautiful duet lightly touched his arm invoking the racist wrath of the sponsors! Wow.

But loved that they insisted that was the version that still went out by deliberately erasing the other non arm touching versions!

Sign of the times, indeed! And last but not least still performing at 85 to sold out crowds traveling in the US in her own tour bus.

Got to love that kind of sauciness, sass, strength and staying power!

Thank you for finding those.  I will post them. I like that I'd seen Ben Franklin there because he was a major player when the Constitution was being written.  Glad those people were safe from the crash.

Thank you for finding this. I don't think I articulated the word 'trifecta' too well back in June. I felt that this referred to an air (smog or haze), earth (earthquake, landslides or volcano) and water (flood or tsunami) event happening around the same time for Indonesia. I hope Indonesia will be spared the other two.

August 17 –Predictions are coming true that the oceans are becoming to hot for fish to survive.  In Alaska, the news is that salmon are dying from this summer’s unprecedented heat wave. The story also mentions another prediction we’ve made: that climate change is happening much faster than predicted.

• Hot seas in North Atlantic are churning, fish are hot. (Faye)  Predicted for August 2019.
• I see fish coming right out of the oceans. The oceans are too hot for them to survive. (Jeanne Mayell)

August 15 -- Bananas!  (In the news). (Anne) Predicted June 6, 2019 for August  2019.A deadly fungus may cause banana extinction. 

This is a tragic event if it really comes to extinction.  I hope they can figure out another strain that will survive the fungus.   

Anne got this at the June Read the Future Night but didn't want to post it because she was unsure if she could really read the future.  Well, looks like she can, and so I've posted all of her other visions too.

Extreme Climate Change has Arrived in America

@lenor and @villager, I see a trifecta in the Indonesia situation too - a kind of perfect storm of coalescing events that creates a global environmental calamity.  It might be something that is revealed over time. For now it could be the result of a perfect storm of events following the destruction of their rain forests for the purpose of the lucrative palm oil business: Drought, monsoon winds, and wild fires from peat. Those fires are releasing the worst of the greenhouse gases- methane and could be the straw that breaks the camels back with climate change. 

@lenor yes, I think it could well be a trifecta of causes. I wasn't aware of the role of the drought in this year's fires. It is also the first time I have heard it referred to as a drought, rather than a dry season.

@jeanne-mayell, that is something I hadn't thought about, the fires in Brazil and Russia immediately came to mind - together with Indonesia's fires they present an enormous event. We probably are already on an accelerated climate change trajectory as scientists have been warning. I agree - I think we will understand the impact in hindsight only.
