War with Iran?
I have had an increasing feeling of dread about this over the last few days, but I don’t know which way it will go. What I do know is that whatever happens, it will be pointless. No one will win in this situation. A couple of articles that I have read on this topic indicate that the Europeans, in particular, do not agree that what is happening there represents an increased threat. They are trying to keep the Iranians in check with the agreement that T. pulled the US out of. Bolton wants war with them because he likes wars and hates them. T. wants a war as a distraction from his criminality. The report a couple of days ago from the Saudis and Emiratis saying that there was sabotage to some of their ships is possibly a pretense to blame the Iranians and give a reason to take action against them. They are also in favor of war with Iran. Added to all of this, there is a report that the State Department has ordered all nonessential personnel to leave Iraq. The report yesterday of a plan to send over 100,000 US troops to the Gulf makes it very much sound to me like they are putting the pieces in place to start a conflict. I ask myself who can stop them at this point and sadly, don’t have any good answers.
I drew the 5 of swords reversed when I asked if there would be a conflict between the US and Iran. That lead me to believe that whatever happens will be pointless. If anyone has a different interpretation, I would be happy to hear it.
‘Below are some of the links to the events that I referenced above:
This is hard for me to write. Many times in the past 2 plus years have I been afraid. But now I am downright terrified. 2 years ago during a meditation my mind drifted over to the Atlantic sea - south off the coast of Georgia/Florida, my mind kept going until it hit Iran and I felt a big boom - an explosion a tremor of something. I looked at it again sometime later and this time got that something was damaged by an explosion or something similar - I got that there weren't casualties but that whoever was blamed for it was not responsible but was being blamed strategically in order to escalate tensions. I looked at it yet again and got that there would be a war with Iran - I also got that the United States would lose that ware and it would be devastating. All of these meditations were done prior to Trump pulling out of the Iran deal and at first I was in extreme shock at what I was seeing. Also I made mistakes in my interpretation - I thought this would happen last year and it when it didn't I wrote it off just an inaccurate prediction or a timeline that we didn't go down. But now it's happening.
Here is the accident being blamed on Iran - notice the Europeans aren't blaming Iran.
Yesterday on my way home from work I saw a lone protester standing by Fresh Pond in Cambridge holding a support the troops poster with a black American Flag and a pro trump sticker. Why are we doing this - the insanity of it all is insane. I hope to god we don't start a war with Iran - we just keep spiraling lower and lower. I hope so much it doesn't happen.
Years ago the Pentagon "gamed out" a war with Iran in what was at least until that time the most expensive war game ever. We lost. Check out "Millennium Challenge" on Wikipedia. The Saudis are involved in an utterly transparent attempt to make it look like they were attacked by Iran - I assume with Jared Kushner's blessing.
The problem is that neocons like Bolton actually believe that the Iranian people will blame their own government if we were to attack.
An additional issue is that Iraq now has a Shi'ite government and would take Iraq's side.
If they get their way and start a war it will be an enormous mess, causing thousands of casualties and throwing the world into a deep recession.
A war with Iran would be like nothing else. Iran is not Iraq. It is the most powerful country in the Middle Eastern/Muslim Geography except Turkey and Russia. They are not Arabic. It is a culture which lives independently since thousands of years. A major culture. The last thing the world needs right now is a big war in the Middle East. The surrounding countries will not remain silent. It could escalate to unimaginable proportions. Unfortunately, I also have the vision of some serious upheaval rising up in that region. I raised the question of Turkey before, which can be directly related to this. Turkey is going through some sort of collapse right now and, being neighbors with Iran, is the one country whose reaction will be important - also as a NATO member. So is Russia, as the big power of the geography and an ally with Iran. Very alarming.
My intuition tells me that a battle will start but end quickly. I don't know exactly when but the somewhat good news is that it's not likely to develop into an all-out war. The reason being is that Iran is not a credible threat and Trump is only creating this situation to increase his chances of re-election.
It will be interesting to see how this develops.
Does anyone have a feeling as to whether this war they want with Iran will happen before Mueller testifies? Asking for obvious reasons since I think they want to use this as a distraction. Though in the end this would kill their chances of getting reelected in my opinion.
I still see Trump resigning out of the blue later this year - not sure when - but after July. OUT of the blue too. He will use his health as an excuse from what I feel even though that is only a spec true.
I know there have been predictions of congress folks taking money from Russians that comes out but I feel it's the senate that ends up more damaged and more of those are GOPers who I think will suddenly lose their career (YAY!). This shifts the entire senate into the Blue lane come the next election. Just wanted to share my predictions about that!
Bolton may be gone, but I have a sick feeling that Trump is going to attack Iran very soon, with a lot of urging from Netanyahu. Neither one is politically stable and a war I think they both believe war with Iran would shore up their support and the Saudis are egging things on. It's going to be a horrible mistake.
