@pep

Thanks for posting. Would you explain the numerology?

My own meditations vary - but the last time I looked at it I stopped seeing him after 2022.

At the end of June, I did a meditation and threw some cards about this and got that there will be a struggle between the oligarchs and P. and that he comes out of it either weakened or out of power by the date his term ends. He tries to grab more power and it ends up working against him.

@pep,

Very cool and quite detailed numerological analysis combined with intuition. I’ve never seen anything like that before.   :-). Thank-you for laying it out.

Do you think Putin will be globally impacted by radioactive fallout from the recent skyfall nuclear missile accident?  Locals are saying "Chernobyl is happening again" and are advising residents not to do any fishing and not to eat any fish.  There's also a rumor floating around that three dead bodies were shipped out of the area wrapped in materials that prevent radio-active contamination.

This is an excerpt from a Vice article:
"Official data show a spike in radioactivity near the blast site that was too low to cause real danger to humans. But the lack of transparency is fueling anxiety. Russian media have reported local officials doing things that don’t inspire confidence.

Regional authorities reportedly placed a bulk-order for gas masks. A temporary evacuation was ordered, then rescinded. Russian intelligence officers reportedly forced doctors treating the injured to sign non-disclosure agreements.

The bungled response is drawing comparisons to the notorious cover-up of the far-more-deadly Chernobyl nuclear disaster of the 1980s, although so far no one is suggesting that the threat to public health is anywhere near that bad."

I have no idea if this incident will negatively affect him or not. My impression is that this is just one more thing to pile on top of all the other things that will eventually topple him. I think a combination of renewed protests in Russia and his inability to keep delivering to his oligarch friends will do him in.

There is a large chunk of the Russian population that supports Putin - but that chunk is shrinking, especially among young people. The oligarchs who keep Putin in power also have children, and those children are slowly getting sick of what he is doing to Russia. It will be someone in the second group who topples him. I don't know why I keep saying this, I just feel it very strongly.

@Bluebelle had a dream of an empty cabinet. We all thought it was about Trump.  Soon after, news stories emerged that Putin announced he was changing things around, with the first change being that he effectively fired his cabinet.

While Bluebelle's dream was about Putin, it has implications about Trump and his own hopes and plans for the U.S.  Both men want to be president for life. Putin will succeed unless someone takes him out by force.   Americans should read Russian journalist Masche Gessen's biography of Putin, the Man without a Face,  and how he turned Russia into a Mafia state. It is not just about Russia.

As for what Putin is now up to with this latest move, Gessen just published the explanation I was waiting for:  The Willful Ambiguity of Putin's Latest Power Grab.  Worth reading to see where Putin is going with Russia.

Putin's move is the desperate act of a confused little boy. It won't succeed in the long run (like a toddler grabbing a doorframe while Dad carries him up to bed).

Yes, the Russian mafia state may look all powerful on the surface, but the current dispensation is crumbling. More importantly, though, the Russian people have had enough. When I read the soul of the Russian collective, I see lots of forced smiles and false bravado. Those performances are hiding utter exhaustion at the state of their country. Their infrastructure is falling apart, their lives are governed by byzantine bureaucracies that only seem to work when you offer "a few extra rubles," and their leaders keep on invoking the same tired tropes when asked how they plan to address these problems ("We are a mighty nation! We will vanquish our foes in defense of the Motherland!") No wonder Russia's youth are protesting more and more.

The exponential shifts in climate change, economic stagnation, and cultural perceptions that are already bearing down on the world will bite the Kremlin hard, and don't be surprised if we see a collapse of the Russian Republic. At the June read the future night, I saw that Russia would be much more decentralized by the 2030s, and that ethnic and religious minorities would be joyously celebrating their newfound freedom.

@allyn

I threw cards on Putin in 2022 and after 2022. I chose 2022 because of the hacks to the RNC email servers back in 2016 and will he be putting "the screws" to the GOP in order to get them back in power in 2022 to help Russia.

But, what I got more spoke to what is happening to him in Russia.

Signifier is the Wheel of Fortune (Fate/Karma)

Past is the 4 of Wands (celebrations)

Current Situation is the 3 of Pentacles (Group Work)

Issue to be worked through/overarching energy = Chariot (things progressing rapidly)

Lesson to be learned - King of Wands (wise decision making)

Outcome - The Sun (illumination, Truth)

Under the deck/underlying energy - 7 of Cups - Illusions/Delusions

My Translation: By 2022, his victories and celebrations of his achievements are behind him. The democrats are in charge in the US and he is being waved away.  This is the "don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out" card for me.  He might be out of power by 2022 or is certainly on his way. Now he is facing the karma for his decisions, he is now going to have to "pay the piper".  Will this be good or bad?

There are people working on this, but they are in the dark/shadowy.  This might be intelligence agencies sharing data or even oligarchs deciding who the new leader is going to be. But whatever it is, it is not in Putin's favor.  Over it all is the Chariot.  This has a life of its own and is now an unstoppable force.  This is going to go forward whether he likes it or not. It will be looking at his time as the leader of the country, did he rule it wisely? The results of this assessment will show the light of truth on his actions.  Now, with a person like Putin, the truth is NEVER your friend.  This will not end well for him.

Underneath it all is illusions and delusions.  This could be how he has duped and deluded those around him to maintain power.  His ability to work on things in the shadows.  But, I also think that it might more be paranoia.  It must be incredibly taxing on one’s mental faculties to be in the position of an authoritarian, especially one who’s trying not to look like one.  Who will betray you next? Was the last report true or false? Is this person trustworthy or not?  If so, how long until they aren’t? etc.

He might be out by this point. I think he is in power, but the writing is on the wall.

I then asked what 2024 would look like for Putin.

Signifier is the 10 of Wands (burdens, tough path ahead)

Past is the Tower (Sudden Endings/Downfall)

Current Situation is the Ace of Pentacles – I’m reading as reversed (Fools Gold)

Issue to be worked through/overarching energy = 10 of Cups (Happy Family)

Lesson to be learned – Knight of Cups reading as reversed (False Knight)

Outcome – 4 of Cups (Choices that you don’t want to pick from)

Under the deck/underlying energy – The Emperor (Authoritarian/Leader)

How I translate this spread.   Putin is under a lot of pressure and burden.  His life is very hard now and he is struggling.  In the past, his power structure deteriorated quickly and suddenly.  He built a house of cards and a sudden storm blew it down.  I think this is him being taken from power, likely by the Oligarchs in response to the World’s response to his meddling as the truth came out back in 2022.

His current situation is Fool’s gold.  What he thought was valuable is now worthless. He got to power by promising continued wealth to his oligarchs, but when the money was withheld, they finally lost patience with him.  It might even be that there is a full revolution going on and ALL the oligarchs (those with the money) are being chased down.  This could be a new financial start for Russia.

The issue to be worked through is a happy family card. By casting aside the old power structure, there is hope for a happy future for the average person.  The storm came and blew down the old way.  The money and corruption are being swept up and there is a rainbow after the storm.  Better days are ahead.

The lesson to learn is the knight of cups (reversed).  The first thing that came to mind was how many people Putin has poisoned. Now a “friend” comes along and offers him a chalice.  Does he take it and risk being poisoned.  He poisoned his mind, he poisoned his country, he poisoned the world and now it is coming back to him.

The outcome is the 4 of cups.  He doesn’t like any of the choices in front of him and each further choice is worse than the last. He is in a bad way at this point. I don’t fancy his longevity.

Underneath it all is the Emperor.  He acted like an Emperor.  All that he did when he was in charge of Russia is now coming back to him.  It is his karma, it is his burden and his alone. This is not a nice Emperor, he is cold and stern, no warmth.  This is Putin’s reward, a tough judge of his actions who won’t have empathy for him when it comes time for punishment.  In a way, this could be Putin losing his mind/sanity.  His insanity is a cold reminder of his time as leader of Russia and the insanity he brought the world through misinformation and gaslighting.

I do not think nor feel that Putin will ever be truly held accountable. He is too feared and frankly loved in Russia. That being said, I do get the feeling that eventually he will be murdered by someone close to him at some point. No idea when, though.

In the meantime, Russia is poised to become even more dominant globally with climate change. Not so much because they are environmentally concerned, but because it is a huge mass of land that will become more arable as the globe warms while other, less autocratic countries will suffer.

Russia is the single most vulnerable economy outside of the Middle East to climate change. When the petroleum economy collapses (not if, but when), Russia has nothing left to offer. And instead of diversifying, they have spent the last two decades doubling down.

Russia is dangerous at present, but within a decade, even if we do nothing, they won't be. They have hitched their wagon to horses with terminal cancer. The carbon economy is their lifeblood, it's really as simple as that.

So, yes, it's embarrassing that they bought the American presidency. But in the end, it won't have done them any good.

This post is by @Allyn and was moved from the 2020 Transition Thread. It is supposed to go above the previous FOUR posts.

Vladimir Putin.

What do you guys see in his future?  Will he ever face an uprising or will he be assassinated?  Will he finally bite off more than he can chew and provoke other nations to attack him in  order to stop his invasions?  Will he be limited in any way, or will he continue to stir up trouble and fan flames of hatred?

In many ways, Putin is like Trump.  They are both self-entitled, authoritarian rulers who care more about power and nothing about people.  The main difference is that Putin is far more capable and subtle than Trump can ever be.

Will he ever pay for his crimes?  Will he ever face a reckoning?  It may be worth it to find out, as I feel his fate will influence how our country is able to rebuild from all of this.  If Putin is still around to cause trouble, it may take longer. -- @allyn

@walden-ponderer. True that Russia is vulnerable economy now, but as oil becomes in lower demand, the surge in the climate is likely to put Russian in one of the most desirable locations on the globe, along with Canada. Russia will be the largest land mass Millions, perhaps billions, will try to migrate tp Russia from India and other southern climates in eastern hemisphere.  It is interesting to meditate on how becoming a new geopolitical hotspot will affect the global balance of power.  Northern United States especially northern New England, upstate New York and the Great Lakes regions will also be highly desirable places.

But Russia twice the size of Canada, so that's a lot of land.

I've always had the impression that the Russians have always been terrified of being invaded. The Mongolians virtually conquered most of Russia, Napoleon tried, and Hitler tried. The Russians are always worried about the next country that will conquer them. They worry about a united Europe or NATO. You would think they should worry about global warming that would mean billions of people from the south would move north into Russia to escape the heat and make farms. It seems they are trying to accelerate global warming. They can get more oil from the arctic, and most of their land won't be frozen thus able to farm, but where is the rain going to come from will it turn into a desert? I understand their paranoia but sometimes you grow beyond things that chain you down.
