One reader said, "If only to be a fly on the wall in that meeting." So I decided to psychically scan the two men before the meeting.

Most of what I am getting seems so obvious that I assumed everyone already knows this stuff.   But when I read the news, the things legislators and foreign policy experts say about the Trump-Putin relationship have me wondering what planet they are living on. Perhaps they  feel as I do, but don’t want to say.  However, I'm just doing a psychic reading.  I don't have proof, but this is what a voice in my head proclaims loud and clear:

"Donald Trump is a Russian agent."

I don't feel he thinks of himself as a Russian agent.  He just wants to do favors for the Kremlin – initially it was for business interests in Russia and later his team used Russia to help him get elected. But he got himself ensnared in Putin’s net.

Trump also considers Putin his mentor. His daddy. He wants to be like him – a powerful strongman dictator, the wealthiest man in the world, who has total control.

Most of all, he wants to please Putin, like a little boy wants to please his daddy. Psychologically it feels like Trump has transferred his adoration and fear of his father to Putin.

Trump’s NATO Performance:

Trump hopes Putin is pleased with his NATO-bashing performance.  He hopes Putin has noticed that he has been steadily hammering home a message to his base that Russia is good and NATO is bad.

I feel his message to Putin is that ultimately he will be able to hand NATO to him in broken pieces on a silver platter. Then Putin can do whatever he wants in the region with impunity.

Trump wants Putin to help him with the Midterms if he is to deliver, and therein is the main reason for the timing of this summit.

I asked my cards what Trump will offer Putin

The answer was the Lovers card, one of the power cards, which means a partnership, a marriage of equals, in running world affairs.   In my mind’s eye, I see a long table with the two men seated together at the head. “We will rule together,” he promises. It will be amazing.

Of course, equality with the U.S. is what Putin wants for now. But if he gets that equal seat at the table, he will want more. He does not see Trump as his equal. He thinks Trump is a fool.

If this post worries you, I should also add that I do not think Trump is going to get to deliver on his promises to Putin.

When I pulled a card on Trump's progress right now, I got the three of disks, entitled "Works" (Thoth deck) and noticed in my mind's eye that one of the three wheels that he uses to advance himself was wobbling badly.  Something is going to give way soon and he won't be able to progress.

Thanks, Jeanne for sharing that.  It rings true to me.

Did anyone else notice that both Netanyahu (Israel's prime minister) and Abba (the palestinian president) both flew to Moscow to meet with Putin over the last three days?

Today, Israel suddenly released papers they've had for 15 years showing the extent and history of Iran's weapons research.  (Washington Post covers the release of the papers here:  https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/papers-stolen-in-a-daring-israeli-raid-on-tehran-archive-reveal-the-extent-of-irans-past-weapons-research/2018/07/15/0f7911c8-877c-11e8-8553-a3ce89036c78_story.html?utm_term=.3013e602a2c1)

Again, I don't think any of  this is coincidence.  It also seems a little too close to Trump's visit with Putin to be just happenstance.

And, don't forget - Netanyahu himself has been under investigation for corruption in Israel over the last few months.  I haven't made much attention to that, but perhaps it deserves a closer look.

EDIT:  Started looking at Netanyahu and this was the first thing that popped up.  Apparently Netanyahu and Trump "huddled" yesterday (Saturday) as well.  The article says they had a phone meeting to talk about Syria but again something feels weird about Netanyahu meeting first with Putin and then with Trump right before Trump meets with Putin.   Something has been planned between these players that relates to the Putin-Trump meeting.

http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/397109-trump-netanyahu-talk-syria-iran-ahead-of-putin-summit

My prediction:   Trump and Putin are going to make some big announcement tomorrow about Syria and Iran.   It will all be tied back to Israel's release of those papers.      It also wouldn't surprise me, given the fact that Abba met with Putin too, that it is going to be spun as necessary to "bring peace to the middle east."

What could be a better diversion away from Mueller's investigation than Trump claiming he's bringing peace to the middle east?

From the sound of it, what ever the plan is has already been agreed to between Putin, Netanyahu, and Trump.

I'm going to try to see if I can understand more about what Netanyahu is being accused of in Israel now.

Jeanne, after the press conference we can see things went the way you said.

What I think you didn't focus enough in was the reverse side of the coin: Putin's attitude towards Trump. What I'm getting is that Putin doesn't actually care about Trump, not a bit. What he cares about is weakening the US, and Trump happens to be the best way right now for that to happen. But he knows that Trump's days are counted, and he isn't too bothered by that. Unless it starts looking like Trump will be replaced by somebody who will be a much bigger headache to Russia, he doesn't care. He would like it if the US and Russia started treating each other as equals, but he also knows that realistically it isn't going to happen, so he won't spend a lot of effort in something he knows is probably a vain hope.

The other thing I sensed pretty strongly, and didn't want to mention before the summit: the private conversation between them was recorded and circulated to the major leaders of Europe and several high-ranking officials in the US. During the conversation, Trump pretty much incriminated himself, admitting he knew Russia helped him to win the election, and he was delighted by it and willing to return the favor. Putin's response was vague and non-committal. As a former KGB agent, he knew he was probably being recorded and he wasn't about to point the finger at himself.

Maria, thanks for adding more to the insights.  I also read Putin as not caring about Trump, or anyone except perhaps his long lost mother, the loss of which is probably the source of his  cruelty and cold heartedness.

Trump thinks he's important to Putin, but to Putin, everyone is expendable.  But he does want something from Trump, as you have said - to be able to walk right over the U.S., push us down, and bring himself to the top.   And once he's gotten it, then there is nothing more to get from him. Right now, he is getting what he wants.  I think he will try to help Trump stay in office because it assures his plan to weaken the U.S. and NATO and step on top of us.  I'm very concerned about the U.S. economy because of Trump.

Jeanne, I read a necessity for the economy to wobble. Trump's tariffs are already causing economic heartache in soybean producing states. That red heartland will be mightily induced to swing left as the economy falters.

I won't put lipstick on a pig and say this will be easy. But a painful economic downturn may be necessary to break the grip of the oligarchy and institute a labor-centered economy.

Short term pain, long term gain.

Jeanne and Maria, thank you for all of this. It is what many of us felt but haven't understood and you clarify all things of interest here both in your own unique ways as does Zoron in his.

Postings by everyone are so valuable especially when it helps us with seeing the missing pieces and vulnerabilities as hope gives birth to the manifestation of practicing positive thinking and holding our own energies in places of peace not anxiety or fear.

Holding our sense of unity with all sentient beings is key to creating a place of peace. When i am aware of their flaws i remember we are all connected and focus light and love and harmony on all of life and all of our lives united in peace.

Unfortunately, R1, I agree.  Trump's supporters don't care that Trump is openly throwing the U.S. under the bus and allowing Putin to co-govern us.  They do care about their wallets.  Short term pain indeed.

I read Jeanne's post just now and I had similar feelings before the meeting. I am not surprised and feel like the meeting was just another layer being exposed of something we already knew. He is an agent and Putin is his handler. Didn't we all know that?  I am more surprised that others are shocked.

I am also beginning to get wobbly feelings about some of the Democrats. I mean that something isn't sitting quite right. Usually, this means something will become clearer over time.

Just came to say, I got a strong feeling that a recording of this summit will be made public soon.

Maria, it's nice to hear from you!  That would be nice, especially since today there's a story circulating in the true and reliable news that Trunp  has made a special point of not allowing the American Press to get any notes from translators about what was said between him and Putin during five private meetings they held.  Secrets kept.   https://www.cnn.com/2019/01/12/politics/trump-putin-meetings-no-records/index.html

More coverage regarding Trump's secrecy surrounding his meetings with Putin.  Don't let Trump's defense or the careful press who say that Trump was worried about leaks, fool anyone.

I stand by what I have sensed from the beginning about Trump's collusion with the Russian president. When working with intuition, I've come to see that some intuitive truths that I pick up are faint, some are strong and some in-between.  This one is strong and I've never doubted it.

He started the whole Putin love affair when no one was asking him to.  This bromance has been his own personal thing from long before the election; from when his son said they do a huge amount of business with Russia, to his calling on P**tin to hack Hillary's emails, to his open admiration for the man, and on and on.

But it's a knowing.   It looks like, smells like, acts like, feels like betrayal of our country to an enemy,

Here's a line from today's Washington Post with a quote from a former deputy secretary of state:

"Trump’s secrecy surrounding Putin 'is not only unusual by historical standards, it is outrageous,' said Strobe Talbott, a former deputy secretary of state now at the Brookings Institution, who participated in more than a dozen meetings between President Bill Clinton and then-Russian President Boris Yeltsin in the 1990s. 'It handicaps the U.S. government — the experts and advisers and Cabinet officers who are there to serve [the president] — and it certainly gives Putin much more scope to manipulate Trump.'"

Jeanne the line that stricks me first is "it handicaps the US govment - the experts etc"  There are no more experts in our government.  Trump got rid of anyone who wasn't a yes man.  That is what Putin wants-an unstable US.  I read on the internet today, can't remember the source, that Trump has stated to his top advisors that he want to pull out of NATO totally.  This is also a Putin talking point.  Putin has long wanted to distroy NATO because they keep him from doing anything he wants.  We live in scary times.  If Trump isn't stopped soon we are in deep touble.  The lack of qualified advisors plus his now open courting of the White Supremist is really alarming.
