He spoke to me about you and the great work you would do.

Oh. Did he tell you anything I don't already know?

It's interesting that we both developed pneumonia while we were in spiritual troughs. After my NDE, when I got out of the hospital, I sensed that the pneumonia had a purging effect. I'd stand over my bathroom sink just hacking up mucous, and I felt like I was expelling past versions of myself and modes of thought that were no longer helpful. In retrospect, I know that month of convalescence helped jumpstart a 3-year long period of personal energetic shifts that are almost complete.  ?

In times of hardship or stress it might seem difficult to be grateful. But if you really think about it, we all have something to be grateful for.

If you engage in only one prayer, let it be simply a heartfelt “thank you”. Here are three easy ways to put yourself in the mindfulness of gratitude.

This is an update to something i posted on the "Thanksgiving" thread, which is locked now:

i am thankful that my father is here with me, as he is very ill, and this could be our last Thanksgiving together.

On the day after Thanksgiving, i had to take him to the Emergency Room for an infected wound.   He is still in the hospital two months later, with many health problems. But the one he was most concerned about was the mass of cancer in his colon.  The doctors said they could not treat it, because he wasn't strong enough, that the treatments would either kill him, or ruin the quality of life that he still has.

from @lovendures  May this Thanksgiving be a blessing for you both.

So yesterday they took him down for a Cat-scan, or something, and guess what?

-That mass is gone!

every day is a thanks giving day

OMG Thank GOD!  What a blessing! I feel like dancing for you - so I will!. ? ? ❤️

I love it when the universe gives us miracles such as this. My grandfather died at 85 yrs old, but when he was 74 they gave him 6 mos to live (cancer). My grandmother got on her hands and knees and prayed on the cold floor for hours. He went for a test later that month and the doctor said the cancer was gone/remission. He couldn't understand what happened. My grandfather did die of cancer but it was when it came back at 85. My grandmother died the same day exactly one year later because she wanted to be her husband.
MIRACLES do happen! so happy for you!

I will try to remember the reading I got on you.   It was powerful. I think I emailed some of it.  Writings. An important book and teaching. Something like a TED talk.  Leading people to a higher plane.

The message was so extraordinary that I wondered it you would believe me.  think I was being hyperbolic.  But I know  it wasn’t coming from me.  Then a month later  you began posting extraordinary feelings, ideas, epiphanies, and I knew the spirit had told me the truth. You have a path that has been laid out for you. And it looks like you are beginning to find it. It is the real luminous you.

Amazing, fabulous and a true gift of loving energies shared over Thanksgiving.

We can never know how and when healing occurs but this is a beautiful blessing of an example!

We are so grateful you and your father received this gift.  Enjoy every moment and know that miracles are possible!

Blessings to you, your father and so much love and gratitude now being felt, expressed, and shared.

Oh how I pray that many more of us will get the miracle we so pray for in our lives or the lives of our  loved ones!

But we are so very very grateful you and your father are a shining example of the gift of living light and love manifested.

Wow, thanks for all the love, you guys.    The reason i posted about it, was that i sensed that a lot of us were feeling disappointed and disgusted about current events.  But miracles really can happen.   One morning, we may wake up, and,  ...POOF !

So glad you shared this wonderful news!! We all need it, for sure. :)

I had a thought this morning as well about the current state of the world and all the news of late: hold steady. It is even harder to do, but if we all just keep living our light and doing what we are doing and hold steady, we will get to the other side of this. And your good news is such a burst of light. Yay!

Whoa! That’s fantastic! I’ll be sending more healing energy to your father so that he can finally come home. Hospitals are awful places.

@jeanne-mayell

You did email me some of that.

Thank you @bluebelle, @coyote, @cc21, and everyone!

Something interesting happened today-    a man that my father has never met before, came to his hospital room and gave him a bottle of holy water from Lourdes.    He drank it.

I thought I would revive this thread because we know that focusing on things we are grateful for can truly affect our well being.  Many of us who have taken one of Jeanne's classes have been encouraged to bring gratitude into our daily lives.

I am hoping to grow a garden of gratitude here in our community by listing 5 things each day for which I am grateful.  Please join in and we can all focus on the blessings and positive things we notice in our lives, even tiny ones.  If we do this for a week, I bet we create a beautiful garden.

5 things I am grateful for today.

-my dog who brings joy and love to our hearts each day

-the sweet little humming bird in my back yard who manages to flutter about in desert summer heat day after day

-our community members here who continuously rise up to offer love, support and care to their fellow tribe members

-the joy that both of my daughters feel in bringing plants into their homes

-being able to turn on the faucet and have clean flowing water instantly

The power of gratitude is a positive and moving force in my life. I focus on major gratitude for our surviving the big things that have been happening in my and my family's lives. But i am immensely grateful for each and every smallest of blessings during this time as they are all the more precious because of all that is happening now.

I am grateful that no one in my family has the virus as many of us are high risk. I am grateful that I've been able to finally see all of my grandchildren after not having that possibility for 3 months for one family and 4 months for the other due to family members working as essential workers in high risk situations. I only have 2 close family members i haven't seen for 6 1/2 months but may this month.

I am grateful and that even though i average 4 hours of sleep a night I have been blessed with a very large amount of energy that became part of my life's work of being able to help others.

And after 6 weeks of hard work (and 50 years of saving family momenentos!)  i have them all carried down pull-down stairs and i have almost all of them cleaned, organized and put into storage bins bins and crates. And I managed to "give up" a huge trailer load delivered to a recycling station for materials or item recycling. I won't be done until the end of September but it's getting almost there!

And I am grateful that in 70 years i cannot ever remember being bored, or not having something no matter how tiny or silly, to look forward to each and every day.

My life has been filled with challenges but its been a wonderful one that has gifted me more than it has taken away.
