Gratitude for Jeanne leading us during a wonderful Predictions group tonight.  A lovely meditation followed by calling in an angelic presence that was lovely in its energetic intensity. Many beings surrounded and merged with us and it was very uplifting and reaffirming.

Bless you for the sharing of your gifts Jeanne and a big hug to everyone who joined in and shared their energies.  Healing light  to those who were there in our circle going through health or emotional crises, and to those with great concern for loved ones. You were heard and are in our hearts!

Michele, it was wonderful that both you and gracesinger were there. A highlight for me. Gracesinger, I am an avid gardener. I am going to look for that Sweetbody’s soak. In fact I’d been working on my garden all day today and kept seeing garden stuff while I was trying to read the future.  I’m afraid that it got in the way lol.

Every day we are bombarded by outrageous violations of democratic norms by this president and his scurrilous, corrupt administration.  If you have “anything” you’re struggling with in your personal life, well, it just feels overwhelming.  I loved Jeanne’s post about gardening and working the soil with her hands.  As we go through this period of chaos, it’s so mportant to take good care of ourselves.  We are light workers and we need to persevere through these years.  Think about what gives you joy and do it.  Read poetry.  Help out a friend, but better yet, help out a stranger.  Lately, Ive been playing the African musician Ismael Lo on Pandora radio which includes lots of contemporary African artists.  This background music has brought joy to my daily life.

I love the idea of working with gratitude as a self-healing method. My new discipline is to watch when current events pull me into a dark funk, and move immediately toward gratitude for something good in my environment.

Today it is the smell of the cut lilies on my coffeetable. And my fuzzy cat. And a really good salad. And the fact that my workplace is woman owned, with no office politics. And that my partner brought home chocolate.

It's all incredibly simple stuff--but the discipline of dwelling on those small bits of goodness really helps me keep a level head.

Pulling Jeanne's lovely forum on "The Power of Gratitude" back up from past discussions .

I know whenever life seems exceptionally challenging there are things that bring tears of gratitude to my eyes and joy to my heart.

This is a lovely place to talk about what helps you. Stories welcome. Let's revive this thread!

“Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others.”

~ Marcus Tullius Cicero (106 BC – 43 BC)

Grateful Jeanne already had this section but belatedly read she wrote about starting a new one.

There are some lovely posts here. Enjoy as Jeanne is working on a potential new section. Maybe this one can be a preview pick me up. ?

I am so grateful today for all of those people who work so hard to make our nation a wonderful place for everyone.  Organizations like ACLU and Earth Justice who fight tirelessly in court to protect our rights and environment.  The brave people who stepped up to run for office because they believe in standing up for what is right.  All of the many people who made calls, knocked on doors, texted, wrote letters for this election, some of which volunteered even though they themselves are not able to vote.  You are all angels, and my heart sings in awe of your selfless service to our country.  Thank you. ❤️

Jeanne, gratitude for you and all your behind the scenes work on this site.

I was incredibly grateful for your incredible organization of the Predictions 2018 and Beyond page with the linked inserts of so many extras.

It's exactly what so many of us needed to understand the many complexly related predictions over so many predictions nights and so many groups from your real life Tarot readers predictions to all of our online and group participants.

I don't know how you collated and integrated them but its remarkable!

Shortly after I awoke this morning, I realized how much I love all of you in this community.   Frankly I am surprised that I love people that I’ve never met personally.   I’m a private person -- at times, overly cautious -- and have never been much of a joiner.  I sometimes still shake my head in disbelief that I am here.   How did that happen?  I must have been led by a power from above, because if my ego had made the decision, I’d still be spinning my wheels.

We’re all a mixed bag, aren’t we?  We come with our personal stories, beliefs, gifts, trials and triumphs, strengths and weaknesses.  Each of us have special gifts to share.   There may be times when we disagree or don’t resonate with what is being said at that moment, but for me, that actually makes this community experience even richer.  I have learned so much from all of you.  You not only have challenged my beliefs and my thinking, but you have expanded my knowledge.  More importantly, you have been instrumental in teaching me to trust my higher self and my intuitions.  I feel much more solid now, than I did before I joined this community. And I feel our spirits rising together, united as one.

I thank and bless every one of you.

Stories welcome.

"Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom."

Marcel Proust

Today I am most grateful for:

All of the previous posts and posters in this thread. Just rereading every single one created a small coding jump in my being where I was instantly happy and so very, very grateful, for the goodness in my life.

Yes, there are daily, weekly, monthly, even lifelong challenges but focusing on the joys and as Jeanne said when she started this thread "throwing gratitude at them" was like throwing a handful of magical pixie dust and casting  out my personal  "demons and devils" sneezed out with a great big "achooo" and receiving a great big "Bless you!" In return!

How awesome of a super power is that?!

@Jeanne-mayell;

"We can also throw gratitude at the situation we find ourselves in in this world. For example, how has Donald Trump been a force for positive change? His darkness has been a wake-up call to what is wrong with our society.  His behavior has forced us to examine our own issues from the inside out so we can live more authentic lives. The suffering he has caused has helped  many to find purpose in their lives."

And just how true, on the mark, and powerful is that?!

Thank you for starting this thread up again. You are such a white light! Your love and positivity are always a beam in the darkness.

I'm so very thankful for everyone here. I adore how we are all so different, yet joined by common goals and we can feel the love from one another with no judgement and criticism. Like @deetoo, I was never a "joiner" either. I shied away from controlling groups and I always felt a bit sensitive in a group.

I am feeling very blessed to find this forum, thankful to Jeanne, and always look forward to another new thread like this one.

Namaste!

@Michele I have that quote hanging on my wall, it was a gift from my daughter.

I too have been thinking about how grateful I am to have found this place with all these beautiful souls.   I feel comfort and peace and a sense of belonging here.   It’s like when you meet someone and the connection is immediate and just feels like things lock into place.   I always feel blessed by everyone’s words and the connection of the group.   Yes, all so different but all hoping and believing that light will win over dark, kindness can change things, if only a little at a time.   A smile can change someone’s day.    Let’s all share the attitude of gratitude.   We’ve been blessed with each other’s support and friendship. Thank you dear friends.  ?

I love it when someone revives a great thread.

One of the things I am grateful for in this community is that there is always someone who will take the time to offer support and insight to those in need.  That is a beautiful thing to behold.

I just reread @Deetoo’s incredible August post about how she suddenly realized with surprise how she loves you all, not just this community as a concept, but each of you.

She awakened the feeling in me that not only do I love each of you too but that this love counts as real and life sustaining.

It’s no more just a solitary notion in my head than the feelings I’ve had for people out there in the “real” world.

By giving me a place to express who I am, you have saved me from living as half of myself.   I have to be careful out there in the world not to share my political feelings with one group, my spiritual beliefs with another group, can’t get too personal  and self revealing either with another group.    Sometimes it feels like a mine field out there.

You have revealed so much of yourselves here and all of it with kindness and respect.  I have resonated with you, learned from you.  I can feel you too and distinguish your different vibes.  Like @deetoo says, I love the variety in you.

I am growing because of  you.  I tend to get extreme in my emotions about what is going on in the world and I notice how you bring me back to center. To quote the Jack Nicholson character in As Good as it Gets speaking to a woman he loves, “You make me want to be a better person.”

@michele, thank you for reviving this thread and for your beautiful words and for reposting my own words when I was having a moment of light.

I can sooooo relate to having to hide parts of yourself, especially depending on who you're talking to. My parents are immigrants from the caribbean and it's the norm for people to talk about vibes, departed loved ones hanging around, etc. In more "American" circles stuff like that makes people think you're nuts. Add to that that I work in the legal field full of "logical" thinking people who also think I'm slightly nuts (but then will check in with me privately to get some alternative, intuitive advice)! The interest is out there but people are reluctant to come out of that particular closet. This site, which I just stumbled across after 11/2016, has been a home to be myself, express myself, and get to know really, really cool people. I feel the same as those who've posted here. I really love you all. With Jeanne's courage, time and initiative we've built something precious here that's as "real" as real life. I'm so grateful for this site and for you all, and I'm excited to see how we all evolve, individually and as a virtual community.

You all make me cry with happy tears just with that same deep feeling of connection as well as how you've learned to speak your truth, and to recognize within yourselves (everyone here!) the heights and depths and breadth of your light but also with awareness that the light is often brighter at some times than others simply because we all carry huge shadows that we are all still working on understanding and integrating/ healing it before our projected realities destroy our world as we know it.

None of us here has reached true enlightenment for as the saying goes...if you meet the Buddha on the road, kill the Buddha. (Paraphrasing of course).

Meaning it will be a false sense of what we will someday see and be  in some other worldly state but only our ego's sense of maya or the illusions of this world about ourselves at any given time and our projections that that create it.

We're all growing together as our sum of the whole. (all sums including everyone we can't understand,  have a hard time liking much less loving in this world) is greater than the sum of our individual parts.

But thank goodness for our intuitions, our predictions, our times of brilliance in thoughts and understandings and in our words and deeds and all the good we have done and continue to do in this projected world of ours.

We are beings/ a bigger being of great service in all ways and in far more ways than we can even see or understand.

We lift up each other as we lift up ourselves and our world.

?

@michele-b-here-in-the-forum, I am also thankful that you have reintroduced this topic.   There is so much to be grateful for.  My vision can sometimes become myopic, especially when I am feeling sick, overwhelmed and discouraged.  Thanks to all of you for your loving, wise and uplifting posts.  Your words help bring me back to my true and essential self.

@lynnventura, I laughed when you spoke about your legal peers thinking that you are slightly nuts, but privately seeking your intuitive feedback.  I worked for a large metropolitan law firm for a number of (way too many) years and can relate.  I too eventually found some like-minded people in that environment -- kinda like moths being drawn to a flame.  One of my friends worked for one of the senior partners who knew about, and witnessed, her intuitive gifts and asked if she could delay a horrible storm that was about to start.  He needed to travel across the city for an important meeting and wanted to avoid its path.  She was able to delay it for him by 30 minutes (including the reemergence of sunlight).  Another friend, who was highly intuitive and knew the tarot, convinced the firm to give her space to give Tarot readings during Staff Appreciation week. The firm opened up a conference room for that week and created a carnival-like atmosphere so that staff could engage in a number of fun activities, including Darlene's readings.   They even gave her a curtained-off space and signage!   None of the attorneys came to her for a reading -- that would have been way too public -- but I know that a few privately consulted with her.

At that time, the firm was much more egalitarian and generous than they presently are.  In fact, I've been told that the firm would be unrecognizable to me now.   I guess some of the nonconformity they would occasionally allow became too frightening for them.  But the fact they were even open to it, tells me that there is always hope ...

As I'm sure you probably know, Jeanne, this love isn't just to the benefit of those of us who gather on this site. It's also to the benefit of the the world around us. As light workers, the radical interconnection and unconditional love of the Upside World is etched into our DNA. So when we express that love on this site, we are transferring the energy of the Upside to this earthly realm, where it is desperately needed.

Tonight I went back and reread Charles Eisenstein's essay, "A Gathering of the Tribe"(I believe you've referenced this text in one of your articles), and I had tears in my eyes, because everything in the mythical story he conveys has manifested or is currently manifesting in my life, from "You may plunge into a depth of despair that we, in our world of light, cannot imagine," all the way to "You will find the people of your tribe all over the earth, and become aware of them through the long-distance communication technologies used on that planet...Then, the mission that lay unconscious within you will flower into consciousness."

@coyote Thank you for bringing up Eisenstein's essay. He also put part of that essay at the end of his book The More Beautiful World Our Hearts Know is Possible which is where I read it while convalescing in bed from pneumonia in 2015. I had been quite sick and discouraged too. But when I read it I jumped right out of bed.  I later learned that he first published that story on my birthday. :-)

He described the same story I had received in my mind's eye back in 1985,  30 years earlier. I'd seen a tribe of light workers coming to earth in streams of light from another dimension to help our world.  Then I saw the light workers pulling overwhelmed people out of the seas of despair. I saw us climbing a high cliff to a new plateau, which I took to represent a new paradigm but also it was probably the new plateau coastal people will move to when all of the glaciers melt.  I was told in this vision that I was part of this tribe and my job was to remind those who come to me who they are. I have seen a native chief in my back yard encouraging me and sending messages to my clients. He spoke to me about you and the great work you would do.  Now I see that your work is starting right before my amazed eyes.

I talked about that tribal vision last year in this Youtube. But I have been telling clients about it for 35 years.  As tough as things are right now out there, it is so exciting to see light workers like you rising up, activated.
