Awhile ago in the Corona Virus thread I mention about the problem East Africa was facing with Locusts. Â
It is tied to Climate Change.and rather desperate right now and not looking to improve anytime soon.
Swarms of desert locusts are plaguing several countries worldwide, including China, Jordan, Pakistan, Kenya and Sudan. One swarm of locusts in Kenya was 3 times the size of New York City. Â
UN Sec.-Gen. Antonio Guterres warned that "there is a link between climate change and the unprecedented locust crisis plaguing Ethiopia and East Africa. Warmer seas mean more cyclones generating the perfect breeding ground for locusts. Today the swarms are as big as major cities and it is getting worse by the day," according to Bloomberg
Oh great. Now the evangelicals are gonna feel justified by the "God sent" plague of locusts
But locusts can be eaten too.....if you have the stomach for it....
