On 02/11/19 I posted an update of EVs that could be serious competition for Tesla in the near future. Most of my post comprised of article headlines and supporting URLs. The last headline and URL was about a new EV startup company called Rivian. It is on the verge of being revealed. Adam Jonas of Morgan Stanley has been following the development of Rivian. This morning I read that Amazon and GM are interested in investing in Rivian. The EV company has been developing a pickup truck that can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3 seconds, a range of 400 miles and a towing capacity of up to 11,000 lbs. It will come equipped with four independent electric motors, one for each wheel, giving it four-wheel drive capability. I have been longtime curious if four motors and a computer controlled electronic drivetrain could help do away with steering wheel connections, drive shafts and tie rods thus saving lots of weight.

The next Tesla may be target of GM and Amazon, Morgan Stanley says

Lovendures! Thank you so much for finding this, I am sharing it with family even as I type here, it's potential is that exciting.

Things are really speeding up now (as many of us predicted way back when) with science and technology beginning to advance in leaps and bounds now and in the next few years especially.

May it continue to be so and may it lead to more sustainability in all ways including our lives here on earth!

The world's largest offshore wind farm is nearly complete . Located off the coast of Britain it should create enough electricity to power a million homes.

The project will take the United Kingdom closer to hitting its target of deriving a third of the country's electricity from offshore wind by 2030.

@lovendures

This feels big.  Imagining what would happen if it goes viral.
